Are you going to use rotated mounts? or go totally back to stock.

I have the front rotated mount and the rear I have the stock with the key hole spacer. I have the other mount but need to change the bushing first. Plan it to go all stock with the spacer for now

Hope it fixes it. If it's the powell mount it really shouldn't cause vibration that's really noticeable much, if you didn't want to go back to stock.

out with the old in with the new. Finally had the energy to go do something and try and get out of the house. Felt good for sure. Quaratine life sucks but atleast I'm healthy.

So old konis not even sure how many miles but for sure they have more than 60k miles and over 6 years on the car. On full soft they have like 1 inch of play where nothing happens lol just loose if i go full hard turns they don't even move an inch lol. I'll look around where I can have the rebuild to have a spare set (if anyone knows of a good place let me know)

Those Billsteins do look very nice, Snail!

I posted this originally in the daily chat, but took it off and gave it another compound/polish to tidy up some of the left over orange peel.

Spoiler

I also started the sound deadening treatment. Had to stop for the day because I forgot to wear sunscreen and got burnt pretty good.

Spoiler

I actually have some of the last photo panels done, I'll have to take a picture next time I'm out.

That color reminds me of the one I used to have on my car before lol looks really good. Yeah the bilstein are nice they are pretty hard to compress. The konis I could do them just with my hands even at full hard lol. the bilstein on the other hand I had to place them on the floor and use my weight to compress. I still need to test them out and drive but you i could feel the difference right away just moving the car to park again

Ha! Nice. This is the Color match metallic teal:
Amazon Amazon
I've been debating on painting the center console (ebrake and such). The colour change you have on yours is pretty epic. I'm thinking of going vapourwave style.

Thats the color my coupe just to be before I went pearl white it love that color but you can't deny a pearl white car looks amazing lol

To be honest I'm going to be looking at getting some new panels for mine. Trying to have a more simple/basic layout to many colors clashing plus I have a surprise for my car coming in 3 weeks top so lets see

I thought about doing this Lagoon colour for the center trim. I tried that metallic teal on it to see what affects it had, and I didn't like it. The blue looks nice though.

I think it might be too dark, or just the way the camera took the photo. I would go out and get a softer blue, but I disconnected the battery in my car to work on the trunk
It's going to rain today and probably tomorrow so it might not be until Thursday that I start working on the sound deadening again.

Snail that is the color of my calipers on my Charger. I really like the purple look on certain cars. Looks good man.

I wanna do the same on my car even if its only the trunk and rear seats area..

Yup that was on my old car, those same trim pieces are now painted pearl white. I miss that chameleon purple tho. I wouldn't mind doing a wrap on that color on my car to bad the yellow isn't really helpful for getting it wrapped any other color

At an SCCA TrackNights last night I decided I my Cobalt was just not quite loud enough. So mid-session I hit the "Blow Downpipe Flex Pipe Apart" button and it sounds so much louder now.

On that note, this ZZP catted downpipe had only 40k miles and about 5 track days on it; I'm disappointed. My old Hahn pipe I purchased used, lasted 80k miles, 30 drag strip passes and 12+ track days. It also didn't fail catastrophically like the ZZP one did.

Now would indeed be the perfect time. I wish it didn't happen 2 laps into my second session. I missed most of the track day

I've been looking for a steering wheel similar, like the "D" style. I thought the Vette came with one stock that was just a basic design and I was going to try and find something like that. Where did you get yours?

The steering wheel does look great, but I'm not feeling the extra buttons and screen personally.

I like that wheel. It looks a lot like a Vette.
