I have an extra "Turbocharged" badge from my other TC. I was thinking about putting it on the dash trim of this one. Do you have any other pics?

even if you wash and wax immediately after, gasoline on your paint is NOT a good idea. PERIOD

now all that you need to remove is the "cobalt ls"

looks good though

i only removed the letters, but i kept the bowtie. I think it looks too pain on the back without the bowtie, eventhough i was considering it.

I straight up used dental floss. Kept breaking, but over time I kept getting deeper behind the badges. The letters took 2 minutes, but the bowtie took a few more..

keeping the cobalt and ss and turbocharged, but that bowtie had to go...cluttered up the back imo. took me alot of time to get it off, ended up just ripping it off, no scratches or anything except the glue left a residue that nothing could get off. not even goo gone. so i kept at it, and a few coats of wax ended up making it dissapear. what a bitch. but my back end looks great. pics coming soon!

i know this is bad but i used a little bit of lighter fluid and the glue came right off.. then again like none of the glue stuck with the bowtie it stayed on the trunk.

all that alcohol based stuff is extraordinarily bad for paint. takes your clear coat right off! down the road you may notice a wierd spot where you used it..be very careful. even if you wash it off it still strips it. gasoline, kerosine, all that stuff.

Well, i took of my rear bowtie this morning. I used my heat gun on low and evenly heated up the bowtie. Then i had some 15lb test line laying around, i used that. (if you heat it up enough that will work with 15lb test). Just be carfull not to heat it to much!! After the bowtie (badge) was removed i heated the glue up and used my thumb to remove the Glue crap. I then used a TINY bit of gasoline making sure to rinse it off right away, it worked like a charm. (Gasoline) WILL NOT do anything to the paint if remove right after. Whoever said it will, well i dont know but i often overfill the car when filling up, and only if u use a rag to wipe that off, ive NEVER EVER had any problem with it stripping clear or paint. I could see it doing that if you left it there. After the glue residue was removes i used my Mothers wax and waxed 3 times, you wouldn't ever know there was a badge there. Also ther is a link to removing the paint off the SS badges, im in the middle of removing them to make them match the Chrome Cobalt lettering. Will post pics tonight when rear end's lookin sexy.

Cross drilled & Slotted Rotors on the way
