Hey guys, sorry to once again revive an old post, but I really want to get this for my 'balt, and I have a few questions...

1. How do you know what setting it's at and how to adjust it?

2. How do you know if it's tightened to the right amount of tourque?

3. I assume it works on '07s, but just figured I'd check.

Thanks guys!

Read the how to on page one. the reason why you only take out two bolts at a time, is so that you dont have to use and supports. if you take all four out then yes the engine will drop and your screwed. Its really simple if you can follow the instructions On page 1.

Torque Wrench ?

Hi,

Does anyone know where the best place is to get an affordable torque wrench that can do 74 ft-lbs as required to install the Ingalls ? I don't want to pay much cause I'll only be using it to put the ingalls on and remove when I bring my car to the garage.

Let me know of where and a specific model ? (Online only please) Unless I can get it in a Canadian store.

Thanks

Gabriel

Should be at your local auto parts store. But a torque wrench is not needed for the install, just get it tight and you will be good.

umm i got my ingals no problem with it. no wheel hop so far yet i tried to get it to jump and nothing. as far as engine sound none. only a LIL vibration when like going in reverse outta a lil hill or just letting go off the clutch slowly in 1st other than that works GREAT

I just installed mine over the weekend, this write up made it incredibly easy to install. I just left it at the factory setting of 14mm. Wheel hop is gone and I have very little vibration.

Thanks for this write up man the pics that came with the kit were pretty shitty and this made it alot easier. This thing is probably the best buy i have made so far I left it at the factory setting of 14mm also and i have no more wheel hop and just a little tire spin when i get on it real hard.

No. They are there to reduce vibrations.
