just installed this thing and i love it... its amazing to be able to do a burn out and just spin the tires and not feel like somthing is going to break(at least if i dont do to many of them)... but really i cant believe how much better this makes my car feel.

I have the ETD on my tC as well as the SS/SC. Thanks Ingalls!
Bump for some great comments on a great product. This part works great when paired (sp) with solid mounts for you guys making serious power. If you drive the car daily I would look into the Stiffy before mounts due to ease of install and overall price. Motor mounts are great if you can deal with the draw backs of them. The Stiffy can be set STIFF or SOFT or just taken off for a road trip if you want a super quiet drive. You cant do that with motor mounts! Check out Dezod or anyother of the great vendors that sell the STIFFY. There are some killer sales going on right now.
I have to admit I was a little skeptical but ordered one a few days ago. Got if Friday, installed it today. Tightened things up quite a bit when shifting, felt like I was driving a totally different car. I thought the instruction/install sheet included with the kit could use a little work. I found this "how to" very useful. Including the torque specs for the nuts/bolts was mucho appreciated.

Great to hear! Was is worth the wait or do you wish you would have got this part sooner? Also what would you like to see different in the instructions
The car is new, only 700 miles, so the wait wasn't very long. I felt the instructions were lacking in explaining how the "stiffy" bolts on to the mounts. There aren't many parts, a simple schematic would have been useful. The pics included in the instruction sheet are to small to be of any use. Overall, using this "how to" and the Ingalls online PDF made it a pretty simple install.

NICE PICS!
The NINJA rocks too!Let us know how the install goes. I've been dead broke since my GM stage 2 install. I have a laundry list of wishes/wants for the 'balt and the stiffy is one of them.
Thanks for the guide with the torque #'s.
Made the job fairly easy.
Mine is adjusted so the damper is a bit longer than preset (I think - I had to take it apart of course). I think that means a little less stiffness.

There has been some concern over weather or not this item would fit the other cars. There was even a couple threads about it. I have recently discovered the reason I would like to share.
On the 2005 L61 cars, the bracket on the engine side of the mount had a different hole pattern then the LSJ. The kit was made for the LSJ, and did not fit the L61.
Then in 2006, GM updated the mounts on both engines. You can see the pictures in the earlier posts of this thread. The 2005 mount had a smooth top, while the current part model has additional casting ridges for more strength. In the process, they also changed all of the engine brackets to the same hole pattern. So now, all the engines have the same mount, and they all fit the Ingalls.
If you have the older 2005 L61 mount and would like to use the Ingalls (and you have an aftermarket intake), you would have to buy the updated mount to replace your stock one. It's not very expensive from what I hear, and the replacement is very easy with a floor jack.

I agree the installation instructions could be better... maybe there wouldn't be as many failures.
I thought mine was installed correctly .... when I went by the Crate Engine Depot for installation on my GMPP honed exhaust manifold they adjusted my Ingalls stating it was a tad out of adjustment..... whew!
I love them guys!!!
After seeing this thread, the great install info, and those sharp looking yellow brackets I wanted to get one -- until I looked under the hood of my LS. The Ingalls dampner won't fit unless you remove the air box from the passenger side. Since I put in the GMPP Performance Intake I don't want to take the box out for the dampner. I wonder if Ingalls can reengineer the brackets to fit closer to the engine or move the dampner towards the firewall so the stock intake set-up can stay?
Just an update I LOVE MY FREAKING INGALLS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! my car feels so damn sporty now, my gas mileage has gone to **** because I keep the boost up way more often now. it just feels more locked in and I actually love the vibration. makes it feel more like a "race car" dang but now I am finding the shortcomming of the stock clutch...
