You will be pleased...I kept mine at the stock settings and it is fine. Install is straightforward as well.

Why not it is relatively inexpensive....I plan on doing the GMPP axle and wheel hop kit later on but for now this works.

the vibrations are coming from the engine itself from not having that movement like it did before the TD. dynomat wouldnt help

But the engine itself would be vibrating the car, thats why i can feel it. So if i was to put dynamat on it it should dampen it

Have you tried adjusting how 'firm' the setting is on the dampner? If you soften it that will reduce the vibration. I left mine at the stock setting and it is not bad at all.

Mine is set at 10mm (tightest setting), and I have hardly any vibes. I also have GMPP front/rear trans mounts (stiffer than the stock mounts). I still had wheel hop when it was set at 15mm (factory setting).

I said vibration not 'wheel hop' Wheel hop is still there for me, but while driving down the road things are not rattling.

I know what you said .... I was simply explaining WHAT I FELT with the settings I've tried. I have zero rattling while driving down the road with the TD set at its tightest setting. Oh yeah, I also have zero wheel hop.

Ah..I see...

Interesting that you don't have rattle in the cab...I did with anything tighter than the default on my car. I do have a strut tower bar and rear sway but otherwise stock suspension. I will for sure be looking into the GMPP wheel hop kit. I have wheel hop problems get worse since I went to the 2.9 pulley.

The GMPP trans mounts are great !!

Since I've had the GMPP trans mounts + Ingalls TD set @ 10mm I've only experienced more wheel spin (instead of wheel hop) each time I add a performance mod. Wheel spin sucks, but it's a hell of a lot better than wheel hop !!

I've had one for over 2 years now, and hear no noises. You might want to check yours.

so when people r saying that they are set to 15mm, 14mm, 12mm, 10mm whatever, what are they measuring to get this number? is it the space from the 2 tall thin nuts on the backside of the ETD?

I no longer have my Ingalls anymore (upgraded to rotated mounts), but I remember taking my measurement from the edge of the housing to the end of one of the nuts. I'm not positive on this, because I havent adjusted a torque damper in a while. Read the instructions that came with your torque damper they should contain the adjustment proceedure.
