Interior: How To: Make a Dual Gauge Cluster Bezel
I found the Dremel excellent for making a nice inside radius using the sanding drum but only for a rough shape. it takes material away too fast to be 100% the first time. hand sanded the rest no prob.
I figured I would contribute to this thread with my latest creation. Thanks to the bezel I bought from sl0wlsj I was able to make a place to mount my wideband.
Pipe held in place with a couple spots of superglue.

JB-Qwik used to hold pipe in place and sanded to rough profile with dremel.

It's not perfect but for my first real fabrication project, it will work.

Thanks to this how-to I learned how to do some new things

Looking good, but make sure you have that angled in 15 degrees or so. I had mine angled in slightly, but not enough and it caught EVERY reflection out the side window, made me nuts, and do to my design and pod, the only fix was to rip it off and redo it. Yours with the solid pipe would be as easy as a dremel massage and repaint if its a problem. Make sure to watch for that before final fitment.
Good point, I never thought of that. Currently I am stalled on the project since I don't have a means to take my downpipe off and have an 02 bung welded in to mount the sensor with. I did however soak the downpipe fasteners with pb blaster and broke them loose and coated them with copper anti-seize so I won't have to struggle with them when the time comes.
