I'm not sure... I never ripped apart a 3rd Gen headlight. But my guess is that it's very similar... Look at the bottom of the headlight & look for the rubber grommett, & pop that off & see if you see 2 wires going to the leds.s

Hmmmm..... That's almost what it looks like from my perspective from the video.... But there just has to be a way. You know?
My boy had the 3rd Gens. I wonder if he trashed them, or sold them, or I wonder if he still has them at his house somewhere.... Let me ask him & see.

lol, were you riding just with the halo's on? My friend has red ones too, he hasn't been pulled over either... And we sit in a parking lot we always leave them on but what's weird is mine is so much brighter than his...

I used to have my red halos on a switch. I didn't drive with them on...just for like parking lots and what not

Buddy I work with is getting rid of his car so he gave them to me and put his stockers back in. Wish I could just buy the bulb instead of having to fix them. I suck a soldering.. Anyone know where I can buy them from already done?

CCFL's are alot brighter then the LED but would also eliminate the "need" to resolder the ones u have now.... you would still have to connect power and ground but same as the ones u have now

Thank you for this - I've been annoyed that my halos are too dim of a blue (can't really see them during the day).

I don't have any soldering stuff, though. I guess I can't do it without that, huh?
