he gave them his car to do some things to. actually quite a bit of things to do. instead they decided to take apart his engine and craft aftermarket parts to sell and they never completed what he wanted them to do. they just used his engine as an aftermarket guinea pig

just finished supercharging however I need to fix some of my setup since car isn't running properly (long story, I have 3 things I need to check)... You need to cut one of the ribs off the belt for it to fit since our pulleys only use 4 ribs and the s/c's have 5 ribs.
im just about 100% certain all cobalts have A/C standard... (maybe the '05's had it as an option?).

as for the belt, LSJs run 6 ribs, we run 5. You were just off by a rib. no biggie

yeah that's what I thought too cause I started looking for an AC delete kit, I couldn't even find one for a cavi with the eco maybe they make one for the sunfire but it wouldn't work for us most likely cause we have the 2 sided serp belt

US models apparently all come with A/C for Cobalt & G5... Canada though the base models, it was an additional option... which, when my sister bought the car (I later took it off her hands) did not opt for a model with A/C for cheaper.

Heh oh well... my supercharger is installed & working... HOWEVER I have a vacuum leak I need to track down & fix. So it will be a bit while I troubleshoot to fix ...... Should hopefully not be much longer before I resolve all the issues.

You'll have to buy the connector that I bought lol.

Which map sensor connector do you want? The SCIP or the 2.5 bar map? I can help you out with it for less than that.

I have a fix for using the SCIP sensor in the intake manifold. I'm about to go out in the garage and work on it and then I'll post my pics.

I won't know if I need a plug until I get my injectors monday or tuesday cause the guy was cool and is hooking up a harness too... its for the stage 1 injectors(42#) so I would assume it should plug into the map sensor which is the plug I was looking for cause I have a harness that works with the stock lsj injectors but it doesn't plug into the map sensor... I will let you know either way thanks!!!!

It is a pigtail that will have to be re-wired.

If you got the real Stage 2 injectors (42.5lbs) they have a different connector. I ordered the injector wiring harness from a 2005 Cavalier. It has the same connections and it also has the right injector connectors.

Yep - I bought one of those harnesses only to find out I just had Lucas 42s, so they have the standard Bosch EV1 plug rather than the Cobalt plug.

I have to rewire a stock 2.2 harness I bought.

I am getting the harness from the seller of the injectors already in the mail... so I need to wait and see what plug is on that harness. I believe it should be the right one thanks for the heads up tho...

While it may be the correct connectors for the injectors purchased, it doesn't mean that the harness will fit your car. It is probably going to be for an LSJ, not an L61, LE5, LAP, etc.
