I think we raced a couple weeks ago on merle hay??

 

I hate the midnight manias so bad.... you end up waiting HOURS for maybe MAYBE 2 passes. Meanwhile the motorcycles get to basically hot lap the ******* track.

My favorite track lately is Earlville (Tristate Raceway). You get your best times on that track, and you can pretty hotlap the thing all day. I also like Cordova out in the Quad Cities quite a bit. Eddyville is nice now/then but both of my cars don't perform very well on the 1/8th so I tend to prefer the 1/4.

We'll get some track days going for sure though...

Earlville is the one I frequent. Your right about the hot lapping. Especially during the first test and tunes. When was the last time you went out there.....

 

I was out there last summer? I forget exactly when now.. I was with my buddy in his MR2 with the "up pipe" heh. I'm thinking it was June or July.

I was in my MR2 back when it had the V6 still swapped in it, and I actually remember a red cobalt pulling on me. Was that you? Like I got out on him and then he just reeled me and put a car on me up top. That V6 was a pile and I'm glad I swapped back over to turbo.

 

I am trying to sell my mustang right now, and have someone that sounds interested in it coming out to look tomorrow. Once that is gone i can go for another balt (most likely an ss/sc).

yeah that was me, how was it such a close race? all i have is a cai and u have far more then that.....also i hit rev limiter 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd, nice redline by the way......you work at tiresplus right? u comin to the meet?

 

FYI, and I can't say how I know, but the DMPD is pretty savvy to Merle Hay being the new stoplight-to-stoplight racing WHQ. It's now what SE 14th used to be

Be very careful... besides it being a ******* major throughfare, they're most likely going to start camping out around there soon. Im guilty of rodding around too from time to time, so don't think I'm trying to tell anyone what to do

More of a highway pull kinda guy though.

yeah that was my fiance, i was riding all day im tired as hell now lol, yeah i never keep tractiong, evonbetter just got us some new tires so well see if that helps anything.
