New!! Just bought my LNF

Hello, my name is Darinel. And i recently bought my 09 cobalt ss LNF 6 months ago. Hope i can find great info here about these cars!!!! I live in the Delaware area.

Drivers side headlight is fogged up will replace soon! 😅

Good choice, enjoy!

I wouldn't get a new headlight, just reseal the one you have. I did that soon after I bought mine (new) and it's been fine since. You'll just have to be careful because the plastic is really brittle now.

I have tried to do a headlight resto at my job we have the 3M and that didnt really help. It had water inside i have to drill a hole to drain it, it kept blowing up my bulb was afraid it was gonna cause a short on the plug and cause a bigger problem. But thanks for the advice!

Nah, that's not how you do it. There's a write-up somewhere, but basically you put it in an oven, separate the "lens" from the housing, clean it out, apply black silicone around the edge, reseat, profit. Like I said, zero issues since. Yes I live in AZ but I also wash my car and that's when it used to fog up. Unless your housing is cracked, then yeah you need a new one.
