Considering my car is paid off, not really. I would like to be without a payment for a while. I probably won't be doing that to my car, just would like to. I'm looking at RX8's actually (even though I can't get a loan I'm sure). I know they don't have a lot of power, but I hear they handle pretty well and being RWD and 6-speed with the little mini rear doors, I can get my son in and out relatively easy.

Still want a GTO or 03-04 Mach 1 or Solstice GXP or Sky RL (or a 2.4 version and DDM Works SC kit) or a few other cars, but I'm sure none of them will ever happen.



But thanks anyway. Maybe if or when I move back to my mom's house when my house is actually foreclosed on, then I will look into another car loan to keep my credit from being absolute **** (I've found that a few people have done that to at least keep a minor amount of credit after foreclosure and it works).

Its not opinion its fact. The ss/tc out performs an rx8 in the corners, gas mileage, and for sure the straights...

 

j christ. the evo and wrx out performs the ss/tc. the ss/tc out performs a miata but they tear the ss/tc up on the autox.

 

 

 

Kretty, I'm not comparing any cars here...I'm just talking about in general...What the ****...calm down. I'm sure not comparing it to an SS/TC...I'm just talking about cars I can afford at the moment if I were to get into another loan. I can only afford about 10k, that's it. That's why I was mentioning RX8's because there are a bunch of 04's around for 7-10k.

And if you'd really like to get into it...how did the accident occur? Weren't there a few cars involved? What were you guys doing to begin with? I mean I don't ******* care, but I can make it a sore subject....I'm not starting anything here on purpose, just stating that in general an RX8 handles PRETTY well...I don't recall saying it was THE BEST car on the ******* road...

 

One more thing...NO **** AN SS/TC GETS BETTER GAS MILEAGE....rotary engines are horrible on mileage...add a turbo setup to it and expect 15 MPG average roughly...20 if you're super easy on it.

I'm not looking for the fastest car on the planet or the car that handles the best, but they're a bit more nimble than the other cars in the category that I would consider...GTO, Mustang Mach 1, Sky RL/Solstice GXP (do you get that I'm looking at RWD only cars).

This is the type of car you pay in full up front....your either a ball or a "little person" ---- guess thats the word they use for us.

 

In that case, I'll buy a used one in 15 or 20 years. Maybe I'll have enough saved to buy the used one for cash.
