Great news... I want to go for a ride in the car.

 

It depends on what setup you want. If you want the cheapest setup, drill and tap into the intake between the MAF and TB. CA sells a TB spacer for a easier/cleaner setup, but that will cost extra, and even more extra for a pre-tapped spacer. Then you will also need a check valve so it doesn't pull meth under vacuum. You will also need the check valve if you want to spray after the blower.

 

I want to spray before and il get the tb spacer

 

Pretty sure you'll need the Snow Kit, TB Spacer w/ Pre-Tap nozzle, and the check valve. Will probably push it a little over 500. Got my kit with the pre-tap spacer + check valve for 275

If Dan actually does decide to crack the motor open, we should always have 2 extra stock sets floating around here locally for people to send out and get regrinds with no down time.

Steve said he might have found a place locally that does it but they never answer the phone and won't call me back. Might have to make a trip down there and see what the deal is.

 

How much for them and the grind? and if I go 280 I would need lifters as well right? thats maybe about $500 as well then?

 

I don't know about anyone else, but Crower wants 150 for a regrind. You will probably want/need valve springs/seats too. I think those are ~350-370 ish. So your looking at about 500 for that too. The meth kit is dipping into my Cam fund Least I got my neutral balance shafts already.

 

Yea I think im gonna go cams and **** first before the meth. Im only running a 2.8 anyways so the cams are gonna help more than the meth. So full up cams with regrind and valve springs for about $500? I think I could manage that.

 

Yeah, hopefully Al will let go of his cams soon so I can send them out, get them installed and whoever is next can get my stockers I think he said he wants to wait about 3 weeks to see if anything breaks first.

Got to hang out with Al and Jay (PhantomGoat) last night.... great to see both of you guys. Al's car sounds completely different... very very cool. I can't wait until he gets all the little quirks worked out.
Jay's new mufflers really wake up the GTO as well. That thing should really sound good once the headers are on.
