some TT cobra on steel city said that he raced a newer gto that was loud, but in the end he won. He also said he beat everyone last night, but i don't think that would be fun because you would always win.
hey guys, i need an ion and a g5 owner that would be willing to let me take some measurements. payment would be in the form of free product for whatever ends up being designed using the measurements...
if anyone's interested, please pm me...

Hmmm, that one is a toss up. On one hand, I could meet up with some friends. On the other hand, I hate 90% of the people from back there (lived in U'town the first 18 years of my life). Plus from the house it's an hour and a half drive. I'd have gone had I known I could get some people from back home to come out. (Correction....people I'd actually want to hang out with.)
Probably? DEFINITELY worse. The weapon of choice in Mt. Pleasant? Mustangs. The weapon of choice in Uniontown? J-bodies that think they're hot ****.

Being stuck in japan for work longer than expected FTL
What's with the uniontown bashing? hahaha...at least I'm right next door in the much cooler village of hopwood...I mean, we have a stoplight, a pizza place, mini golf, grocery store, and driving range, and yeah, that's about it.
There actually are quick cars in uniontown, but most cars are just multi-colored/multiple shades of primer neons or hondas with huuuge wings and loud exhausts. Then there's the one old, old saturn driving around with cut springs and the car looks like a teeter totter when it hits bumps. Ah, uniontown, home of the "fayette county ferrari," the cavalier (please don't take offense, I didn't make up that saying).

Kinda funny cause the whole city was segregated by type of car, so you used to be able to drive around to different places and pick what kinda car you wanted to pick on. Wal-Mart had all the rednecks and their trucks. The mall parking lot right by Goodwill would have about 3 5.0 Mustangs. The Civics/Hondas were out on 51 first in the old Hills Plaza, then they scattered to either Oliver Square or that new place up on the hill. The ricers (Note that ricers and Hondas are largely separate groups in Fayettenam. There are a handful of riced out Hondas but most are actually quick and/or boosted) were in the restaurants in front of the mall. And you CANNOT forget about the J-Body "Car Club" that hung out next to the bagel shop at the Mexican restaurant...er, rather, drug front, that used to be Rax.
Is the mini golf still there?!?!?!?!?! I drove through on my way to my cousins' going away party like 2 or 3 weeks ago and I was looking and it looked like they took the mini golf place out that was right on Bus. 40. I was like "WTF?! They can't take that out!!!!" I used to go there ALL the time with my parents when I was little. (BTW you forgot the bowling alley and Hutchinson ball fields/gun club.)
Talked to Matt earlier...he and Wes might be rice hunting, after they're done @ the show @ Caste Village. Since they're close to me, might be heading out after, with them. Would be a haul for you, though.
Not sure if the sq. hill tunnels are open or closed.

Yeah, green garden mini golf is still in hopwood across from adrian's market
A really nice guy bought it a few years ago and he's slowly trying to fix it up since it got in pretty rough shape in spots over the years. He said he needs about $6k to fix it up how he wants with all new greens and other stuff, but he just doesn't have that kind of money to fix it all at once, so he's doing one hole at a time. He's a really nice guy and I still go down there to help support the course and BS with him. It would be a shame to see that place close down, it should be a historical landmark or something. haha. I was pissed off enough when they bulldozed Ruse's Roost to put up a drive-through car wash, but at least they left up the big spinning rooster! lol!
Man, I wanna get out of here and back home. It looks like they're gonna ask me to extend my stay for a second time. I still haven't met my little new niece, and I'll be uber pissed if I miss the north hills 50th anniversary auto-x event on Saturday. If I do end up staying here longer, I'm asking for a big raise when I get back, and if I don't get it, I'll probably move on, like everyone else at our office is doing.
/End rant.
