Well as of right now, it looks like I'll be keeping the Cobalt. I guess they did alot of looking around, and they might pick up an HHR or something.. No biggie. So for right now, that's how it is. But if something changes again, I'll let you guys know, and this list will be back in effect. But I appreciate the quick interest though..!

BUT!!

I still might be interested in a few deals.. Maybe the hood.. And maybe the headlights.. I'm kind of at a toss-up about what I want to do with the car appearance-wise.. So for those few members wanting to trade for the hood/headlights, we might still be on.. I'll let you know..

AND!!

I changed the deal with the wheels, so don't refer to that, refer to this.. I will trade my Enkei wheel/tire package for a set of SS s/c gunmetal 18's / SS t/c silver 18's (in similar, un-scuffed good condition), OR for a get of 17" G5 GT 5 spokes plus cash..

ALSO!!

Does anyone have any projector headlights lying around that they'd sell for cheap? Bulbs aren't even necessary.. Just the assembly and the wiring.. Hell, even if you have a set that doesn't work and you just want them out of your way, I'll come get them.. I just want to see if I like them on my car.. Lemme know if you have something like this.. We can work something out..

I'll trade you a set of green/purple gen 1 projectors I have and my hood for your hood and headlights ... They're in the parts forum, if you wanna check em out...

hey paz....was wondering how everything has worked out for you? was able to find some scattered posts and such and something that seemed like some turbo problems maybe, but just wondering what the main story was on the setup?

Long story short:
Turbo died again for unknown reasons. One of these days I'll send it back and have it replaced and maybe try again. Maybe next time I'll get four days out of it.

IMO, run a TVS setup. Be killer on an LE5.

i looked into it and i was told it couldnt be done, would be mechanically inefficient(blow transmissions and motors couldnt take it) and would be near impossible to tune..

heres where i made the tvs inquiry: feel free to liven up the thread if need be

as for paz- wonder why you keep getting bad turbos...atp's part maybe?

Eh, he has a point. But my idea was to actually use your LE5 bottom end, but swap an LSJ head on the car. You can get them for 250 or less easy now. Then strap the TVS on.

the main concern for me is tuning...which is primarily a hold back in anything i do with the car, and also why i failed to complete my turbo last summer(couldnt make it up to you guys)...but i would absolutely love to do a tvs setup on the car.

wouldnt that call for a MAJOR retune to get everything functioning properly?

Yeah. it would be a pain in the ass, because you would still have the LE5 PCM.

Honestly though, tuning one compressor isn't harder than the other. Just different. Pick what ya want. Not sure what your power goal is, but I bet a TVS could get you there, and give you a nice TQ curve too.

so really it probably wouldnt be any more of a pain in the ass than what the standard le5 head would be?..well i like the option of the tvs because im only looking for about 350whp or so and i like power that snaps your neck when you punch it...but like i said the chances of me doing this successfully are slim, simply because of no means to tune

Yep! Tonight around 11:30pm beside Heinz Field. A whole big Balt crew is meeting up. Bring beer.

I'm going to break my own rule and spam our thread:

I'm selling my BC2 body kit... again. If anyone local wants it, let me know before I let someone else pick it up.

The inclusion of "Soulja Boy" in the trailer kills it.
