Makes two of us, I stayed home from work today cause I feel like ass. One of the worst migraines of my life last night/this morning.
On a side note, got my new brake pads from Gravana. One problem - they sent me HPS pads for the front when I ordered HP Plus. HPS would be fine for just auto-x, but I wanted the HP Plus pads for track days, which is what they're designed for. So went back to Gravana's site and the part number they list for the HP Plus pads is the one for the HPS front pads. So now it looks as though they may not carry the HP Plus pads. *Sigh* Just one more headache to deal with in getting these pads.
^Ellis is trying to do math today...

I've been keeping busy at work. Dan and I hit up the gym at night. That's about all going on for me. The rest of my time is spent warming up from being exposed to the cold while walking to/from my car.
Ahhhhhhh
Well, I'm in and out of the office / trailer all day long, so Between the car ride here, the walking and the car ride home, I never quite warm up.
I'm having the bad day to end all bad days here it seems ( everything I touch goes to crap ), so I should've just stayed home...lol

Well, Being in that field ( structural steel / construction ), I can say that in MY opinion... there's bigger issues going on there. Even if the show isn't cancelled, there is going to be alot less people there than normal.
That truck driver was WAY too un-cooperative talking to reporters last night ( at least the ones I saw ), so something's definately fishy.
It's hard to tell if that was a section of Pre-cast concrete, or a poured slab on metal deck. Reporters were saying a 36" thick slab... that's ALOT OF CONCRETE.
I have a few people I know that have cars that are slated to be on display, so if I hear they aren't allowed to take them, I'll post up.
I'm glad I went to detroit, that's fer sure.

^^^Ditto.
The weirdest thing that's ALWAYS been in the back of my mind any time I've ever been in that building was commentary from when they first started construction on it. I don't know if anyone remembers any of the articles or interviews, but they said at the very beginning that EVERY building that has EVER been built using that design has collapsed...
