Like I said with a controller, your going to go up in boost. The minimum you can run is what the spring set is in the wastegate.By adding a boost controller,it bleeds of pressure in the wastegate line, thus keeping the wastegate closed, adding more boost.Only way to drop boost is to change the spring in the wastegate.Just leave it at 15 and have your tuner run as little timing as possible if your worried about poppin the motor.
doesnt matter who tuned you.the lowest boost you can go to is what was set in the wastegate on the LNF.A boost controller bleeds off wastegate pressure which increases boost. So by adding a boost controller and having it on its lowest setting,it will be the same as what you are running now.

So my car has been making this strange valvetrain noise for a while. Replaced both timing chain tensioners andnothing. I think it could be my lash adjusters or oil pump not providing enough oil to them, I have never thrown a low oil pressure light so im leaning more towards adjusters. There's a vid in the link below of the noise. Any suggestions?

so im currently on stock pulley and stock ss/sc injectors. there is not to many e85 stations near me closest is like 10 min out of the way and the other is 20 min.
so i was thinkin 3.1 pulley 42# injectors and jus on 93 octane premium thinks i should be fine???
im currently on a basic sc tune by trifecta and have a pretty big after market heat exchanger, dual pass, full exhaust, k&n intake, and have a interceptor gauge on the way i currently push 10psi btw

Im thinking you have an oiling issue, causing head/timing issues. I wouldnt rely on oil light coming up, cause when mine died barely had a quart in her no light, no cel. maybe oil pump/pickup, but i think you said pan was clean. have you checked return line from turbo. For some reason your not getting oil to head I believe. Talked with Dave about this a little this morning. My personal opinion, don't know if its your prob or not, is the l61/lap pan suck for turbo setup when pushed hard. Got an lnf trap door from powell and raised my return bung as high as could go, and my oiling issues are gone.
I have LNF oil pan, modded to keep the oil in bottom of pan and into pickup at all times (designed for heavy track use). Also use modded LNF dipstick. Ryan for you Dave said your problem was exaggerated on the incline of the dyno, why Im thinking it has to do with return backing up. Also I believe my turbo is mounted much lower than you guys with zzp mani, not sure what difference this could make.

ooooooooooo i see what ur saying. so should i try and shorten my return line or get the lnf trap thing like you have? ill test that incline theory today too, very interesting and thank you for the help so far lol
