Paint Job Opinion

So this is my dads 64, hes wanting to paint it a dark blue, but i like it the way it is what does everyone else think?

New paint job. It looks like the clear coat has lost its luster, so it definitely needs a paint job.

thanks for everyones opinion so far, now heres another question, if he does paint it blue what color should the block be?

Orange or the same blue?

Alright, well you leave it, and just get a nice clear coat on it. Or better yet, brand new paint job, blue/chrome with blue engine accents. Either way it'll look gorgeous!

i like it how it is. a midnight blue with pearlescent wud look sweet. u cud even add a little white somehow, like do the same thing as the black n green, but do blue n white. ummm, as for the block, i'd say, do it in the same color. idk, IMO orange wudnt look good. its too miami dolphins for me...lol.

I'd go with one solid color...and I kinda dig the flat tone on the older rides Go with the orange block too

my dad and i are building a 69 step-side chevy that looks very close to that. FLAT BLACK ALL THE WAY! thats the way ours is.

about to rip out the 350 thats in there now with just a crane cam. it was 3 on the tree, we put it on the floor. now about to drop in a 350 with 12 1/2 compression, 2 four barrels w/tunnel ram, putting out around 550hp n/a

hell yeah, youll have to post some pics of it, ours has a 383 stroker in it, about 600 hp, bad as hell, horrible on gas


and it has fart cans too
