Oh right, I missed that you're running an aem intake. I was referring to it being relocated to the lower charge pipe. No biggie. Check to make sure no wires rubbed through somehow. Also ohm out each wire individually to itself at each end of the connector to make sure a wire isn't open, shorting or the resistance isn't too high indicating a bad wire in the extension.

This is what what mine did whan my end tank cracked on my IC. It took a bit to throw the P0101 code on mine.

On a brand new ic? I just ohmed out the maf extension its fine, smoke tested the intake/ vac lines for the charge pipes, no leaks. Possibly something wrong with the tune even if it was running fine for about 5 days.

Did you smoke test the entire charge system from the turbo outlet coupling up to the tb as a whole unit? For stuff like this I prefer pressure testing better than smoke testing personally.

No just the vac line going to the lower charge pipe, intake vac and upper vac lines.

You need to test the entire boost charge system, not so much the vac lines.

See my sig. You will need a source of compressed air, though.

Glad you found it. I have a 6th sense for these things I see them happen all the time. I can spot the signs of a boost leak without even seeing a log.

Was it drivers side or passenger?

My driver side blew off and you could not mistake the sound of the turbo spool. It was scary loud. Mine was completely off.

Yeah I don't think there was a person in this thread that didn't see this one coming. I only had him double check the maf extension because he was so convinced there was no leak....

.... there is no spoon....
