Cut vac hoses mystery

Hello everyone
Im diagnosing my 09 SS Turbo and found 2 vac hoses coming up from lower engine area near the dipstick tube that have been cut and left. It does have a FMIC and ZZP charge pipes but I just bought the car and thought it was strange they are left like this. Any help much appreciated

It's the vacuum reservoir tank. You don't need it.

The vacuum canister is there to help the ECU limit TQ steer on spool. You can either connect the BPV straight to the intake manifold or go through the BPV solenoid on the intake manifold.
