Help : 09 Cobalt SS makes no boost

So recently here the last month or so i have been trying to figure out why my cobalt is only making 0~5 psi. Ive scoured the forums and asked many of my cobalt owning friends for ideas and so far everything has come up dry with no changes in performance. It all sort of started after I pulled into a shop to get my transmission fluid replaced and on the way out of the building my resonator got caught on something on the floor. Resonator cracked open like a pop can and so i took it off and had it repaired. i had no issues the whole time the resonator was off of the car. After getting it back and reinstalling it my issues began. So far I have done these.
  • Boost leak test at least 5 times
  • Cleaned and checked BPV for damage (found no signs of wear)
  • Replaced MAP sensors with gms1 to match my tune
  • Replaced MAF twice
  • Replaced boost control solenoid
  • Replaced wastegate actuator solenoid
  • Replaced wastegate
  • Replaced EVAP purge solenoid
I really thought the wastegate was the issue and after 5 hours spent on the replacement I still have no change in performance. I was wondering if anyone else had experienced something like this. If so how did you fix it? The only code that eventually gets thrown is a MAF range/performance code. I really have no clue what it could be at this point in time and I'm hoping someone on here may have some ideas for me.

Which MAF code is it? Can you scan for pending codes?

Any way to log the car to see what is occurring in the ECU?

So ive discovered unplugging the MAF sensor lets the car build up to 15psi but after replacing the MAF sensor yet again now with the sensor plugged in the car wont run it will bounce rpms at idle until it eventually tries to build boost and dies. any ideas?

Have you check the wiring for the maf?

That code seems super familiar been out of the diagnostic side since I stop visiting but if I recall that's the Boost leak code. I could be wrong

Usually the P0101 is a boost leak, but if it passes a boost leak test then I would start looking into the wiring for the MAF.

Well yeah that all depends if the OP did the test correctly lol but I agree with you if it was done properly then start checking wiring for the maf

I'd do it for the $15.

Of course. Worst case scenario, it's a cheap replacement.
What OP didn't mention is if they have one of those MAF cable extensions either (for CAI). Those are a little more $. Just in case, here's a link for that -> https://www.ebay.com/itm/17237081172...4AAOSwZJBX-9Ks
