Finally put in my GMPP pedals.
What a pain in the dick.

Leave it to GM to make slip on aluminum pedals.

Attempted to recharge my system with one of those cheap freon cans. It doesn't want to take freon so I'll just take it somewhere. But I'm not about to do these 110+* drives home

Finished installing a pair of Schroth Rallye 4 harnesses for autocross duty. Will still be using the stock 3 point for street duty cause I like my neck. (Not shown are the rear harness points attached to the lower seatbelt mount points for each seat.)

If that's towards me, I thank you. I love that white Balt of yours. I originally wanted one but there were none for sale anywhere near me, so I got this unmolested 1 owner. I still have small plans for the future, like some tints and Powell springs/cabs, but I'm diggin' it so far. Makes me smile when one of my co-workers says his 19 year old son is jelous(paid for by himself).

OE Struts/mounts, shocks, sway bar bushings/clams, OTTP/Road Magnet springs, Moog CABs and OE end links. Car rides/handles so amazing.

All in all, only took about 4 hours. Zero snags thankfully.

Changed my tune and I'm about to wash it for the first time in forever. It's been nice getting 35-40mpg combined even if I miss the extra low rpm torque of e47.

Installed the Powell PCV kit. Had a few hiccups but it's all in and working from what I can tell. I'll be checking it next month after autocross.

Need help

I have an 05 SS 2.0L that's currently straight piped and way louder than I want it. It sounds ricey as well. With a 300$ budget, is it the best way to go out and buy a muffler that deepens the sound? Way too ricey for my taste. If so does anyone have suggestions on mufflers I can put on my straight pipe?

Lsj's are very picky with their exhaust components. At the very minimum, your gonna want a muffler and resonator and even then just piecing an exhaust together would probably result in rasp. Some ppl opt to keep their cat as well. Your gonna want to pick up a nice quality catback like Zzp, magnaflow, corsa etc

Got a complete set of LNF seats, LNF trunk, and LNF rear lip last week all for $150. Drivers seat frame needs repair because the car it was in was side impacted. The passenger seat is good except for an odd dent on the top. Definitely the frame. Already sold the rear lip for $120 and still have the trunk to sell. Gonna get the seats fixed by a professional and then put them in my LSJ

Both the seats, pretty dirty in this picture.

The really odd dent in the passenger seat, none of the fabric is damaged. Really confused as how that dent happened...

The seat that needs work. Can see its pretty mis-aligned.

You can see bending back here.

left side bolster is bent it a tiny bit. seat is sort of twisted. Nothing too bad. Still reclines, goes forwards and backwards, and goes up and down!

Discovered the auto parts store timing chain kit I installed had a chain guide that wasn't quite formed right and it cause it to rub on the chain slowly eating away at both

I also found what appears to be a partial roller, on my magnetic drain plug, off of the timing chain but I haven't confirmed that yet.

A hair dryer or heat guns makes them easier to install.

They are still a pain though. I remember that install 8.5 years ago, lol.
