It was only 1 click away from getting them lol final screen of check out and I backed out. Ordering these though I had no doubt. hopefully there good. There so new who knows what could happen. They've only been out for about a month I think it is. They could sag and ride terrible in a few months but hopefully not. I have full confidants that there build to last like everything else you make. springs are tricky.

three maybe four reasons. 1 is the springs are not in your hands yet so I get to goof off lol and

2. gotta take the pictures while I work, and

3. want to do it so that you have the choice of using a spring compressor or not. So back to
3 (a) , not using a spring compressor, you have to have a decent floor jack, and it helps to have a second person to assist in guiding the strut rod through the strut mount hole as you jack up on the lower control arm to re assemble understanding you are compressing the spring as you are doing it without a compressor, so the bearing and top spring plate must be in place and not catch the strut shaft as you go up etc.

BUT That means THREE people, two to do the work and a third to take the pictures...

YYZ guaranteed not to lose rate. NOONE guarantees that except for us, so do you think its possible that the springs out there that sag etc, ( oh ya wait a few weeks it will go even lower...) are cheap and made of sub standard materials?

in case u missed it:
Made in the USA for Powell RaceParts by Hyperco.
ALL the INDY 500 winners in the last two decades or so have been on Hyperco springs...

If you did not keep them, you will need a top strut mount with bearing, a top spring hat and rubber isolator, and a lower spring isolator. CED have the parts, you may have to beat on Tom a bit as his strut mounts and bearings are a little more money than you can get from Moog or whoever, but you cant get the isolators and spring hats anywhere else.

At the rear, the upper bump stop and the lower isolator are required, you may still have them, it depends what you tossed when you Megan ized your car.

One thing I can say: you will fall in love with the ride and handling all over again when you are done, and someone will buy your megans willingly. Good luck!

Sox fan and 07 metallic got the installation deal thread posted up so not more I need to do there. Use a small screwdriver or a punch through the strut mount into the strut piston shaft to guide it through the mount when jacking everything up into position and make sure the bearing does not fall out. Use a little grease on the bearing to keep it on the spring hat..
All the springs were shipped today EXCEPT

WHITNEY figured you can go pick yours up.
STEALTHSS figured the same thing, you can Abarth your way to CED, if not call Tom

good deal, thanks very much! I cant wait to put v.2 on next week and take lots of pictures....

Can you post the links to those install threads in your original post/second post? Would help people see them.

Same with the pics once you get the springs installed. Looking forward to those!

damn straight! Monday. I think Tom and Dan were about beat to heck at close of business today. Think about it: inventory of the entire stock at CED/Rockenbach, probably 5 or 6 million dollars in parts crate engines etc ( LS7 go for about 17,000 dollars for example) by an outside company, while still pulling stock and shipping orders, answering phones and emails, then receiving a truck load of springs in the middle of the morning in bulk, boxing labeling and shipping springs out by close of business.

wow. I get tired just writing about it.

thanks to them, tracking Monday.
