You can call your order in now. We will not be stocking mufflers and resonators, rather we will bring them in as the orders come in. They are usually one day out from our local supplier. I or another do the tube bending independently of header production.

If you wouldlike to order just give us a call and we'll get moving on bending and bringing the mufflers/resonators in.

Thanks again.

Dan or anyone have any ideas on exhaust size restrictions? I am still reallllly on the fence on whether to go 2.5" or 3" on the exhaust. I wouldn't mind 3" if it wasn't too loud AND wouldn't lose low end power. I would also compromise and get a louder 3" exhaust if it would produce a nicer power gain. Anyone have any recommendations on this exhaust sizing? I know soo many people on here run 2.5" and that is why I am scared to go to a 3" exhaust. My mods are in my sig and VBGarage. Help please!

I have a 2006 Pontiac Solstice with the 2.4L NA engine. I have had a 3" exhaust on there since almost day one. However, just like the 3" exhaust we are offering for the Cobalt, it reduces down to 2 1/2" going into the muffler and exits through 2 1/2". Same theory, allow exhaust gases to expand quickly in the 3" tubing while the 2 1/2" keeps velocity up as the gases cool and condense. Also allows for a deeper tone without going over-board.

Any info on that 3" install that was supposed to happen today? I am really interested in hearing a 3" installed before I make my final call on size. I really wanna get my exhaust ordered and paid so I can get it on the car!

We ran into some snags today. The large bender we use for 3" tubing went down and it took some time to get it fixed and set-up again. We will be finishing up this exhaust tomorrow morning. I'll try to get an audio file.

Did i read right , you guys are going to star making downpipes? I would be really interested in a catted DP that would go on a stock manifold and your 2.5 exhaust.

3" exhaust was installed. We made some changes. Due to the many comments and requests for us to offer a true 3" all the way back to the tip, without reducing down to 2 1/2" into the muffler, we went ahead and used a Magnaflow muffler with 3" in and out. We also changed the tip to a 12" long 304 stainless tip with 3" inlet. These changes have increased the price a little but I will hold off on the increase for the 1st 20 as I advertised.

This 3" exhaust is by far the best of the systems we have put together. It sits better, uses better hangers, looks cleaner, etc. At idle the sound is VERY deep. At WOT on a fly-by pass, (THANKS DANA), it was aggressive. A little on the loud side for my taste, but I'm 39 and the days of loud exhausts is over for me). I forgot my camera and I didn't get a chance to purchase a sound recorder. Dana, the owner, is going to get sound files tonight and email them to me or up-load and post them himself. he will also be back tomorrow so we can get some pictures. Keep in mind he has our 1 3/4" header with 3" down-pipe (no converter). 3" all the way from the header collector back, no 2 1/2" neck-down anywhere.

Also, there is not enough room to do a V-band, ball/socket or 3-bolt flat flange connection before the axle. 2-bolt flanges are a joke so we wont even consider them as they have a tendency to leak. For 3" it will be a slip-fit for either welding (preferred) or band-style clamp. 2 1/2" should allow for a ball/socket connection.

As far as options on the muffler, we used the largest muffler with the offset in / center out configuration Magnaflow offers. The resonator is also the largest Magnaflow 4" resonator available. We will look into longer resonators. We prefer to stay away from a 5" or 6" resonator because it will force the entire exhaust to drop lower under the car.

MOre info coming.
Thanks again.

P.S. We can do stock replacement down-pipes with or without hi-flow converters.

Just finished uploading videos. The exhaust sounds great in the mid-range area but didn't get any video. Didn't have much time because i've been working all day but i'm very satified and even sounds better than before. It is a little louder than i personally like it but it's a nice deep tone compared to the other exhausts i've heard. I definitly recommend it if your going to buy a system this is the one to get. I have nothing but good things to say and will try to get a video of the mid range tomorrow. It actually sounds mean, not even compare to a "ricey" exhaust. 3rd video i sped passed a cop that why we are laughing.

Well it's still a 4 cyl. engine... it will never sound like a V8.... but it's the best sounding exhaust i've heard on a 4 banger.... even though my supercharger is still hella loud... higher RPMs i can't even hear the exhaust but i'm sure other people can... heh

Is this the 3" with a 2 1/2" slip-fit? Or did you get a full 2 1/2" DP?
Wow that sounds REALLY good.

[edit]
Just saw your edit,
So that was a 3" exhaust from Header back?
Wow that sounded REALLY quiet compared to every other 3" I've ever heard.
And it sounded WAY better then any other 3" I've ever heard on a 4banger.
