Yes, thats the point of the clamp on exit. It adapts thier 3" dp to the 2.5" flange, but is removable if you decide to go full 3"

Does anybody have any estimates on shipping? I live near Pittsburgh, PA 15623 and I was curious as to how much shipping would be for a header and dp. What would the max shipping approximately be? Also how many people got the coating? Is it definitely worth it? What materials are the header and downpipe made of? Will they rust easily? I am extremely interested in getting a header/dp combo for use with my stock catback. Thanks!

not sure on shipping - but i think it is the same to any state...the coating is a good idea, but not curcial. I do not have it on mine from them and am ok. they will not rust easily, my haeder/ dp has been on my car for 30k and still looks great THis would work great for the stock catback...but would make any exhuast sound AMAZING

Wow. Lots of questions and answers.

Thanks to those of you who answered the questions about the down-pipe, 3" to 2 1/2" transition, etc. A clamp can be used. I personally don't like them, but if it's temporary, no problem.

Group Purchase ends June 27th.

The Silverado headers will fit the LSX style engine all the way to 2006 but the Y-pipe will be different.

We got slammed again this week with custom jobs and production but I think we are working on 15 orders now. Beth has the confirmed orders set aside so she can tally them Monday and I'll let everyone know.

Tom, thanks for the offer on the car. We may end up needing it soon.

We do have a Cobalt coming in tomorrow. We will build the 3" system on it and test fit the 2 1/2" system from the Pontiac Pursuit/G5. If all goes well tomorrow I should have pricing set by Monday and we can start taking orders. oth aluminized and 304 stainless in 2 1/2" and 3" will be available. But we don't polish the stainless tubing like other companies. It's a complete waste of time and money as it will turn yellow/gold/brown almost immediately.

I also have the first ceramic coated 1 3/4" header back. It's for one of you guys.
I'll get a picture up by tomorrow.

Progress report on the exhaust coming...

Thanks everyone.

Ok, so I would need a custom y-pipe or something. Good to know. I will most likely be ordering a set of those for my dads truck sometime in the near future, and I will be getting a setup from you for my car. Thanks for taking the time to answer everything. :

Yes, a custom Y-pipe for sure. We can provide you with the mandrel bends and the Y-collector if it's a single cat-back exhaust.

I have a set in stock with 1 3/4" primary tubes and no EGR. Give us a call when you're ready.

The GP ends June 27th but if you don't want to wait we can give you the current discount price: it would be the 10 order pricing.

No problem on building your down-pipe exactly how you want it.
Give us a call MOnday and we'll get the ball rolling.
Thanks.

rico, what size primaries depends more on the engine than the cat back, I see you have the 2.0 s/c, so I would recommend the 1 3/4

We have determined the TRI-Y header is better suited to the normally aspirated Ecotech engine.

PayPal address is dan.ferraro@clearimageautomotive.com

1 5/8" primaries for the 2.2L or 2.4L & 1 3/4" for the 2.0L supercharged engine. Also, any nitrous oxide applicationwill benefit from the 1 3/4" primaries.

The GP ends June 27th but if you don't want to wait we can give you the current discount price: it would be the 10 order pricing.

3" Exhaust R&D is done. Thanks to a local owner. Thanks James!!!

You can re-use the stock one, its MLS. I also have an extra regular one if you wanted.
