You won't need a new gasket. Just re use the stock one.

Ya the gasket doesn't match up 100% with the new headers (due to the new header being a larger primary) but it doesn't effect the flow. Should be the top part of the primaries that has part of the gasket running through it

This is more of a "to each their own" situation. When I did my exhaust, I reused the same gasket because, like you, I was told it would be OK.
After the install, I could always hear a sound (which is hard to describe) which to my best guess seemed like a leak right at the header.
I later found out, through an exhaust shop, as well as many people on this forum, that the factory gasket has sort of a "seal" you could say.

While it is fine to use the same gasket again, you won't ever get the same kind of seal out of it. I personally will never reuse an exhaust gasket ever again.

Again, to each their own. I'm sure my posting this will start some form of flame war.

Could be. I did have nearly 20k miles on my car when I swapped the H/D out, so that as well may have had something to do with it.

I keep posting it but with all the talk it keeps getting lost.

Yes, we have headers in stock left from the production run we did. First come first serve. We are selling them at the best price from page 1. if you need a total, shipping, quote, etc. Please call us at (425)251-0329. Please do NOT ask via forum, PM or email.

Thanks.

Funny you should mention this. We are actually getting ready to turn the key on an "STS" based rear mount turbo system for the 94 - 96 Impala SS. next is the rear mount twin turbo system. We have been working on this project off and on for over 2 years. R&D takes quite a bit of money and resources so it has to take a back seat to production and customer jobs.

We had planned to design a turbo system for the Pontiac Solstice next but we have since sort of dropped out of the Solstice market a bit.

Who knows, if things remain strong with the Cobalt/Ion/G5 market, maybe we can design a turbo kit for you all.

Thanks for the suggestion.

looking at possibly ordering one of these setups mid next week. how much of a discount are we looking at here so far?

interested in:
4-1 header w/2.5" dp w/cat & 1.75" primaries

Q1. Do you have these in stock?
Q2. If I order next week would it be possible to get it here by Aug 15th?

We have headers in stock. First come first serve for the best prices from page 1.

Thanks for all the comments about the headers you all have received. We're glad you like them.

TRI-Y makes more power up right from idle and hold solid to 5500 rpm. After that, power drops off hard. 4 into 1 header makes power gradually but keeps going to the moon.

We have a Cobalt coming in tomorrow night. We can check the TRI-Y and get them finished.
