Are you keeping the socket still and turning the allen wrench.

the only way to get it off is using an impact gun to pop it loose. Thats what i had to do anyway.

thanks for the help so far that was quick

I took mine off with an electric impact wrench...cheap to buy, around $50..took the nut off in literally a second.

you HAVE to use an impact gun on it to get it off, thats the only thing that spins it hard and fast enough. Trust me. Thats how we do it at the dealership, and how i did it at home. Stop wasteing you time, and just go get an electric impact gun like everyone has been saying, or find someone who has airtools.

The point is its far more easier to use an impact gun. That bolt is torqued to like 130 lbs or so

if you havent been able to get it off yet.. this is what you do compress the spring a little bit and then hit the nut real quick with the impact.. it should loosen it alittle.. the extra tension with the spring not compressed will help.. then compress it more and zap the nut off..

I took my strut off and then went to a muffler shop and asked the guy to take it off with an heavy duty impact wrench. He did it for free, but I dropped hime 10 bucks for the help.
