Moog swaybar endlinks
k80252 is for the ss/na suspension and the others are for the ss/sc suspension. you can use both on the ss/na but alot of people prefer the k750012 as it gives the front suspension a bit of pre-load
I just put a set of these in today and it still makes that clunking sound. WTF? I made sure the bolts were tight as **** like trying to stick your dick in a cheerio but it still makes a little bit of that clunking sound. Is there anything else that causes that noise?
Control arm bushings, Mine make an awful clunk and it makes my wheel shake when braking from 55+. I got a flat the other day and checked out the bushings while my tire was off, mine are cracked and all worn out. I just ordered new ones today, I will be replacing them next week and I'll let you know if this fixes my clunking.
The Moog links are very nice quality for $55.
Help new to the site
i have an 05 ss s/c and my sway bar end links are shot i need a good site 2 order some good ones i have stock suspension but next month i will be getting the megan coilover kit so any recommendation on a good set of sway bar end links thanks
So to revive an old thread...I am looking into the moog end links for my 2.4 SS/NA. I am lowered 2" and was just wanting to make sure, I should order the shorter FE5 endlinks (K750012). Also, what's the deal with steering rack spacers? Are these required? Thanks!!
As far as the spacers I know they recommended them for sportline equipped cars and I think they are around 2" so I would say yes.
You cannot SAFELY install rack spacers if you do not have rotated mounts; the steering rack WILL PROBABLY crash into the rear mount when you try to raiseE RACK . Not good. cheers

Does this apply to autos? It's been a while since ive been under my car but if I remember right it looked like there was room. Then again I'm on eibach pro kit springs so it doesnt matter lol

Powell, unless you are strictly referring to manuals you are mistaken, check the how-to section and search for my thread about installing rack spacers, fe5 endlinks, and fe5 front sway bar... Spacers have been in there for a while with no problem.

this is an easy answer. AT or Manual is the same;l they use the same rear mounts and the issue is rear mount ( attached to cradle ( all cradles are the same all years except 2004 Redline pretty much,) to steering rack clearance the trans has not much to do with anything other than as a support for the mount bracket. so nothing to do with it.
You did not take a picture of the steering rack installed. If you put a 10mm spacer under the rack and did not space the rear mount, the housing is most likely touching the mount and there will be marks on the mount/rack housing. Check it out. if you have a 1/4 inch spacer in there, it will clear the mount, but a thin spacer also does not a whole lot for bump steer on a slammed lowered car.
Depending on production car variation for clearances, there is a big risk to break the rack housing from contact with the mount.
