That would be my guess.

You're not going to be passing an Si at 90+ mph. After 70 mph the speedo moves as fast as a sundial on the 2.2s.

I agree with the statement about the SI being faster...I can pull away from one with no problem but im also modded with a s/c but without my stage 2 it was definitely closer so i dont think your N/A LS is gonna stick with a 200 hp vtec car sorry

oh and just to be a smartass, what is your address, so i can send you a cookie sprinkled with i dnt give a fuhk on it....

ur car proly is quicker than mine....but im shurly 750dollars away from my alpha build...then u can brag on who is quicker...lol
im only x amount of dollars away from my omgwtfbuild aswell, then ill be faster then a corvette!!!

holy **** this guy is a *******

first off...a new civic SI would destory a 2.2 unless HEAVLY modded, i think we have established that...

the OP later said it was a 05 and yet people still argued the fact that 06 SI is faster then a 2.2...ok?

second...i would still think a 05 SI is faster then a 2.2..160 horsepower right? lighter body right? just makes sense to me...regardless...you won..so congrats..let the bullshit arguements between these two very uneducated people end now

The 2.2 has some potential, but I'm going to argue that the Si really botched it or it was just another Civic with more stickers than credentials.

ok the 06 si is a drivers race with the 05 and 06 ss/sc. haah not some 2.2 liter thingy. im not busting on 2.2l cobalts, but that statement was like saying a 2.2l is as fast as a 06 cobalt ss/sc.

ehh the ss/sc will SLOWLY walk maybe like 1/2 car or so. one of my best friends got a 2007 si with like 3600 miles on it about 2 months ago. we went from to like 120 and only above 100 did i start to walk him by more than a car. their gearing blows cause they are at a high gear so quickly. yes, i think the ss/sc has the advantage, but TEMPERATURE also plays a big thing too. If it was like 95 out it prob woulda been closer, but it was only like 75 i think so that played to my advantage
