i have also ordered the base bushings. maybe ill stick with the stock shifter + base bushings. we shall see. and maybe if your shifting is getting rougher, you could do a tranny fluid swap. tried that yet?
I've still got my stock assembly. I've been thinking about switching back.
I'm gonna get some base bushings, and then see if anyone local wants to do a straight swap.

send me 1200 bucks for the clutch swap, and i will.
108k on the factory issue clutch from day one. slicks are not in my future plan. actually nothing is. it is what it is.
my prediction on slicks is a drop is 2 mph at most, and a **** ton off the et. i simply can't use 1st, barely can use 2nd.

For when it won't go into first... you're supposed to let the clutch pedal out... and then push it back in and try again.
And for reverse, I've found that if you put it in 1st... and then move it into reverse... it works a lot better.

i always throw my car into 4th, then reverse, from day 1, even when i had stock shifter.
first is pie too.
WIth after market shifters i notice gear selection must be more percise
going on 4 years with b @m with no issues.
driven like stolen.

im just gunna try the twm SS and keep my stock shifter handy in case my mind changes. im used to tranny problems, i used to have an 06 civic si. 3rd gear would always pop out, and sometimes i had problems getting into first or reverse. but all u had to do was put it into another gear then to first or reverse.
I run the B&M with no issues I broke a couple rollpins without the new linkage set up
Georgian bay motorsport put B&M's in there cars and took them out after breaking rollpins they may have had other tranny failures due to this The exedy clutch was suspect also. They use a modified stock linkage it has the weight cut off and an upgraded roll pin. That's the set up that is in my car.

now he's getting to the nitty gritty.
does it have to be stock blower?
Can it have a ZZP pulley, or just Nates? Or intense?
Can it have a 3" exhaust?
Are you going to tell us it can only be street tires?
And can they be any brand?
