Nobody knows the answer to my trivia question? I'm surprised.

Here it is again so you don't have to go search for my post:

Does anyone know where the name "Chevrolet" and the bowtie logo came from without looking it up? Hint: it's not really a bowtie.

8cd03gro's answer was wrong.

I think the AZ heat is messin with your head. You know the DTS is FWD right? Can you imagine a 470 hp FWD Caddy?

Funny how you just proved to yourself why putting random badges on your car is not a good idea--It confuses people who actually know cars.

Being a Mustang owner, you should watch what you say about "fake" hood scoops. The previous gen. 'Stangs were the kings of cosmetic hood scoops AND door scoops.

Although I don't like the SS/SC wing, I cannot say with authority that it is useless. No one has proven this. It may only be useful in 2% of total driving situations, but that doesn't mean it's useless. Maybe we should contact Mythbusters on this topic.
i never said the mustangs didn't have ricey attributes now did i? I just said that it is kinda stupid to call a mazdaspeed protege and all those other cars the "riciest" when anything that you could say they have that is ricey, the ss/sc has that but bigger.

and when i look at your spoiler i can tell you the aerodynamic benefits of it (which are very small btw) are outweighed by the addition of weight to your rear end. The stock wing is minimally functional.

Don't you know that Internet Forums are the Male version of Soap Operas?! Your thread is just an episode of the "Days of Our Lives" to us. It doesn't matter on how it started, it's a matter of life and death, and If Johhny is going to cheat on Martha, and if Buddy can beat the Cancer before it kills him.

What would we do without this useless bitching?

It was a design on wallpaper in a French hotel where William C. Durant was staying and he liked the design so he used it on Chevrolets, a company he created with Louis Chevrolet back in early 1900s.

Well, I guess that's close enough, but I understood that since the Louis Chevrolet guy was Swiss and a racer, that it was a representation of the Swiss cross (from the Switzerland flag) in motion, hence the angled edges.

I never said that you said that. I was just warning you to be careful in your definition of rice. That's all.

How much does a spoiler weigh? Like 10 lbs. max? You have a pretty sophisticated brain if you can calculate the aerodynamic costs of a spoiler vs. its weight gain just from looking at it. The part that I bolded is basically exactly what I said.
