I have a Black SS/TC and have tossed around the idea of having my wheels painted gloss black to match the car. Now I am having second thoughts on the gloss black. Should I paint them and if so what color should I go with? Thanks for your help.

I'm personally a fan of black wheels, and I'm considering doing it for my TC as well... In the end, I'd say if you're going to paint them do it in black or leave them stock. I find other wheel colours to be tacky except for white (and even then, in very rare circumstances).

 

Google search for local powder coating business I have someone here who will sand blast prep any wheel for 75$ a wheel .. Thats NOT BAD ... I just gotta get him the wheels some how and I don;t wanna set my car on jack stands for a week

I think painted wheels look like crap .. The heat from your rotors and sand/gravel is going to make you wish you hadn;t painted em.


Trust me get em powdercoated much much more durable finish that you can enjoy for years.

 

im going to do this same thing in about a month it should look tight as hell i love the all black look this weekend im painting my tails black and it should be alot of fun
