Thumbs down Severe vibration at idle in the cold weather...

Even once the engine is up to operating temperature the whole car vibrates like a ******* *****.

I turned off all the electronics at idle and I still have the vibration...the outside temperature is currently around 20 degrees Fahrenheit. Is anyone else experiencing this?

And you would believe it was the muffler because? Valid reason? Explain your position...

I wouldn't say it's severe, but I get some vibration when it's really cold.

This sounds like a possibility.

It seemed to be worse with more electronics on. I turned off all of the electronics except the lights and it was still pretty nasty. I even keep mine in the garage so it is at least 20+ degrees warmer than outside temp.

The way I see it...if it vibrates me seat enough to be felt, it's severe...

I get some vibration. Do you have a vacuum gauge on the car? If so does it bounce a lot at idle(not touching throttle)? If this is the case you are missfiring. Mine has missfired a little bit usualy when warming up.

i have 94A front and rear mounts...i just got used to it although besides idle with the ac on it really isn't bad. and with the ksports on full stiff theres no goin back to anything resembling a smooth ride in michigan anyway lol.

on a side note...would you rather have your rental impala back pete? lmao!

Try having the heat blasting and your rear defroster on while idling. Please?!

you sir need new muffler bearings

mine vibes like crazy...but that could be due to the polly tranny mounts and solid motor mount
