Superchips
no no no, not bailing, just makin sure I get a good amount of HP, but driving 10+ hours doesn't seem fun!
quick quesiton, you can tune for bolts on, etc. with the trifecta tune, correcto? I have done only a small amount of research thus far. More of my research has been done on bolt ons since they needed to be on first before I tune this bitch@!!!

I haven't had to adjust anything... with any of mine! Except the I/C which caused my car to go haywire!
I did a meth tuned LNF 2 weekends ago... that is one of them that needs a retuning ha ha ha

There is really very little that will need a "retune" as far as mods go...

Been a few, there's another SS/TC owner that has ridden in my car, and he is very modded, just no tune.
But I have raced and beaten since tune,
Turbo 350 Z (Single turbo greddy kit.) Bad tune I'm guessing was blowing smoke.
Some acura that thought it was fast, like a 91 with a fart cannon, not notable
An LSJ that was atleast a stage 2 (demolished) the guy had no idea what he was talking about when he was discussing his car. Only mod I could visually see was a heat exchanger and 3'' exhaust.
Some ******* in a Nissan Titan. Holy god crushed.
A friends 07 Mustang GT with exhaust and intake. He had me to 60, then I shifted and started pulling. I shut down at 120 and was atleast 5-6 cars ahead.
And every riceboy and their mother with a fart cannon.

charge piping exhaust stuff and intercooler stuff really doesn't effect the tune all that much

has anyone with this chip? Send an email to SC about the MAF cals yet?
Cortex arrived!!
Ok, it takes much longer to register and update this thing(website was down, googled the update), and I couldnt find the speed limiter stuff yet, but i did load up the 91 map pretty quickly, my service brake light went on while the ecu was reprogramming, but that was gone upon install.
I let the car warm up then went for a neighborhood spin. Throttle seemed less sensitive the first couple of jabs, but it was quickly resolved. I didnt get above 4500rpm, but my god the torque! best 350 ive spent! I loved the characteristics of the LNF before, I like this alot better
RPD was reading 325ft lb in 2nd, i didnt get a max hp reading (wet road), but at 4500 its making more than the stock tune at 6000

yeah holy thread drift...
I like the superchips tune so far, still no CELs. My HP meter usually rises to 285-295 on my RPD in 3rd, I have not paid attention to torque yet, I mostly just go by dyno numbers. Also the Service Brake system flashing is normal. It also flashes on mine every time I flash the ECU.
