Timing was only 15* due to the knock showing on the logs ( I think it was false knock but Idid not want to risk the motor).

so does that mean that with 24psi and 15* of timing the batmowheel made the same hp up top as a stock turbo at 30lbs?

It's not gonna make much more whp at 30 then 24 since its a spike.. if the boost was kept more linear it would but not a spike.. it also depends on car.

Well the boost drops off from 30 psi up top but yes. His other tune was 3* more timing which is scary with the 30 psi spike and the amount of midrange timing it had. I think he may have something causing false knock because it seemed like no matter how much timing I pulled or added it showed 3* of knock on the logs we did.

Why is this still a sticky if it proved pointless and not cost effective?

People just need to be realistic. The K04 already makes more power than most turbos it's size. Switching to a slightly different shaped compressor wheel of the same size is not going to produce 50hp gains. It just doesn't work like that.

haha i was more into it for potential... Stage1 cams wont net 50whp but they'll def help make more power.. My question (without skimmin thru 34 pages) was, Will this Batmanmopowheel help make more power, or is it jus somethin to add to my mod list to impress the cool kids with their supras?

Unless you want to run a 34 psi spike tune it will not add any measurable power vs the stock turbo.

Pretty much. We had to beat the crap out of both setups to see a solid difference. Most improvements would be in the 0-5hp range.

idk why people waste their time with this stuff, take off turbo, new compressor wheel, put it back in, all that work for pretty much nothing. why not do that work and put a zfr on and ull have the power u want and u don't have to screw around trying to push k04 to the very edge of its ability and still be unsatisfied after a week of running that.

idk why people waste their time with this stuff, read through an old thread and then post on it when no one has for about a year to revive a thread that has already proven that the product isn't worth it. The end result of you reading all this(Your opinion) was that its not worth it. Great!! but I hate to break it to you.... your very late to the conversation. Did you ever see it pop up in ZZP's product line over the passed 2 years? No right? That should of been the clue to not even bother. Noob ****.ing move there governor.
