cmiller8006 Winter build
I have to drop the crank off to get balanced on Saturday so today I took the block apart the rest of the way. Crank and rod bearings also look like new still so all is good.

howd you get the top trans bolts out without the fuse box out of the way lol, that must have been a bitch.... doesnt take long to undo the box, then you can hit them with an 1/2" impact
Looks very clean, what oil where you using?
I guess that Saab had something to do with this crank?
Is the bottom end bolts or studs?
Oh, and when you head to Dragway 42, let me know. I live about 10 minutes from there!!!

Ran amsoil5w30 for awhile, but switched back to mobil1. I will be using mobil1 from now on. I will make a couple trips maybe to 42, but it's just to much a **** hole from what I here. I guess I am just spoiled from Norwalk lol.
come on miller, don't start with that **** again. lol.
LOL. Have you seen the thread on the ced meet? I would like to go. I was going to talk to you about it and see if you would wanna roll. Its in Chicago I think and last 3 days. And you may have heard about the engine builder. Ballard Racing Engines, been around for awhile and builds drag motors as well.
Yea he does mostly V8 sprint car motors. But started with drag motors back in the day. He is my friends uncle and live about 10 miles away. If he dont mind I will snap a couple pics of his shop. Its huge lol.
i love big shops haha im lucky to have a father obsessed with cars so we have a 20x24 paint booth attached to a 100x80 garage and then like half a mile away a 22x50 garage with 5 garage doors to store cars
Nice we are looking at a 40x72 building with 2.5 acres right now.

Yea it came out of my motor. And I bet it will be out of balance. The pistons are lighter and the rods are about the same as stock. Even if its just a little at 8000rpms it turns into alot lol. And I am only getting charged 150.00 for balance, and he is going to help me figure out the bearing sizes, but I think a stock set will be perfect, considering the wear is virtually none.
