I have to drop the crank off to get balanced on Saturday so today I took the block apart the rest of the way. Crank and rod bearings also look like new still so all is good.

howd you get the top trans bolts out without the fuse box out of the way lol, that must have been a bitch.... doesnt take long to undo the box, then you can hit them with an 1/2" impact

I unbolted the box and then lifted it up about 10 inches and it was wide open.

Looks very clean, what oil where you using?

I guess that Saab had something to do with this crank?

Is the bottom end bolts or studs?

Oh, and when you head to Dragway 42, let me know. I live about 10 minutes from there!!!

is this the crank that came out of your engine? Do you think it would be out of balance?

Yea it came out of my motor. And I bet it will be out of balance. The pistons are lighter and the rods are about the same as stock. Even if its just a little at 8000rpms it turns into alot lol. And I am only getting charged 150.00 for balance, and he is going to help me figure out the bearing sizes, but I think a stock set will be perfect, considering the wear is virtually none.
