Our turbos are larger than normal units and are pretty heavy. And the manifold is pretty heavy also. Extra bracing just ensures that you don't crack something.

That sounds like a smart idea.

The crank is still at the shop. He had a few more motor orders and asked me if he could get started on those. I said sure since it's still winter out. The supertech springs hit the head so I had to dremel some metal out. Got that taken care of. Working on talking with jet hot about coating the mani and turbo hot side for me.

I was thinking about doing that myself, but I heard it still cracks after time. I'll have my manifold next week and i'm swapping turbos as well so I could do it too. I was also thinking about the bottom of the wastegate. How much do they charge

Ok, just got back from picking up the block and stuff. Heres a few pics of the stuff. I didnt take a pic of the crank but everything is balanced to within a tenth a gram and good to 10,000 rpms. He had to make the rod big end and small end a little larger because the clearances were way to tight. He also deglazed the cylinder walls for me

How many PMs are you getting with people calling dibs on all of your mods when they go up for sale after the wedding?
