2.0L LNF Performance Tech 260hp and 260 lb-ft of torque Turbocharged tuner version.

I'm thinking I should start a build thread. Guess this is it.

But you sound like you're familiar with dyno's reading funny so I wondered if you kind of knew what all could cause that to happen.
guys who use that dyno who own cobalts keep saying that they have a hard time getting a tach signal so it reads stupid low or something. Like guys who dyno 480 on one will dyno like 320 on that one. So idk I'll have to ask them and find out for sure. The other place finally emailed so I'll see if I dont go there instead

Interesting. When I dyno'd there was no direct tach signal he just had me try and hold a constant RPM on the dyno to calibrate the machine. I had a hard time holding it steady and I am betting that is where things went wrong.

well I talked to the guy and he said because it was dyno day its all kinda rushed so that could have been why there were problems. Really no time to get it right if something doesnt work

You just described my situation perfectly though with it being dyno-day and not having enough time to look into it lol because that is exactly what my guy told me. I was like how the hell did you track him down.

No. Hp will read fine at Speed Factor. You will just have no tq reading or the tq curve will be will look nuts if the tach signal acts up.

Horsepower was bang on it just showed it at the wrong rpm range.

Tom- we just partially untaped one of the coil wires and used that. Worked fine.

It's not reading/converting torque correctly on that sheet. Your hp never slows down, bet that thing pulls hard.

I agree. I ran my log through virtual dyno and my tq was like 525. Not that that program is at all accurate lol

All depends on how the signal is reading. Which you can see pretty fast looking at the tq curve on your graph if it’s stable or not. Looks smooth and reading right to me.

Try motion.

I did but it’s to be expected on a big turbo lsj set up. LNF is a different story though.

man got a good scare today. driving home and my car looses power and just shut off. oil light goes on...which freaked me out but didn't realize car had shut down. so I look under the car and I thought I saw dripping..checked oil level. nothing on there. called my dad to tow me home . looked under, nothing. no oil, no wet spot nothing at all. so I go to drain it, I was missing about a liter of oil, which id expect with this build and the 100+ hard pulls iv done already in the last 3 months. time to change oil anyway. so I put oil back in to do some tests until I can get new stuff. car would crank but no start. checked codes. fuel injector codes. cleared them....nothing. checked ground, nothing. pumped the gas and it fired for a sec then just cranked again. so I pulled the injector plug, pushed it in as hard as I could so it felt nice and snug, cleared codes again....now I had a fuel pressure code as well, and she started up. relief. guess the injector harness wasn't clicked in and slowly came loose. my trims and idle seem to be a lot better now as well.....will check some more after I do oil change.
