I'm thinking I should start a build thread. Guess this is it.

100% agree. I cant afford a new trans every month so, this is the only option in my opinion. and no I don't think f40 is a solution either, cause it may hold up for longer, but it will eventually break as well, unless also reinforced. id suggest anyone with an f40 send it to Jason and have him take care of it for you.

BTW guys, I'm going to be a vendor at the CED meet next weekend if any of you are going. Stop by my vendor booth(B3Design) for a detailed explanation of this indestructible build as well as cheaper options.

Hate to be THAT guy but I did offer you one of my cheaper builds in this thread like 5 pages ago. You would still be banging gears if you had that trans. It was a mild build. 445 with CSD and 3ga and my obsolete (yet still effective) first gen brace. But hey, maybe this was a blessing in disguise. You're gonna be getting the best of the best of the best. Strongest and most efficient manual trans ever known to the FWD GM delta platform.

So little review here. took intake manifold off cause I got a powder coated one coming from powell. and I have to fix my leaking oil pressure block I made, this time I'm making my own out of solid aluminum, the block I bought has 4 unused ports that have like 2 threads to seal with, and that's what is leaking, like had a feeling it would. so anyway took off manifold and looked too see how powell v3 oil separator was doing. after 2 months of breaking her in and tuning doing a lot of hard pulls and such. not one drop of oil, or any oil stain for that matter, anywhere. valves are still shiny, there is some black carbon stains, but that's expected. but valves themselves are clean, intake manifold is just as clean inside as when I put it on. id say the v3 works freaking awesomely. I do smell oil when I'm sitting at lights though, but that's because my bov is slightly open, and id expect the air vented back into the system to smell of oil. but all oil is removed. also checked my upper cp and outlet of the turbo. totally clean. nice piece of work John Powell.
