Was going to do this anyway, I thought you were referring to sending him more logs with the way the car is running now. Sorry about glghe confusion on that, I'll definately be monitoring the car after all of this is done.

Just cause you have a tune you shouldnt go through spark plugs constantly. If you cant keep a set of plugs in the car for a decent amount of time then something is wrong with your tune, your running too much timing or too much boost. Before you destroy another set of plugs go make a long 3rd gear pull on your car then pull the plugs out and check the timing marks. evaluate and go from there.

So I was experiencing the same thing with my TF tune but Vince had a different response. He said he will safely tune mine out and he's thinking since its under light load he thinks its mechanical noise. So there could be a chance that it's nothing to worry about.

Also I spoke with a local shop about dyno vs street tune he said its good either way but they prefer to dyno tune and edit it on the street.

I also texted 542542 for you guys LOL and their response is, "The best tune is a combination of dyno and street tuning. Start with a street tune, and refine the tune on the dyno. kgb_ team" LOL

Anyway im indifferent, but it was a fun read.

Don't have time to read all of this.. and I see it's an older post as well.. I also see the Op is in Alberta like me.. so what are your mods? When's the last time u changed your oil and what are you using? Also, what plugs and gap are u using? I've had problems too in this area and I've found a solution for my particular instance.. if u still have problems Pm me and I'll tell ya what worked for me. Nothing wrong with Vince's tunes as long as you logged them and he fine-tuned. I'll leave it at that for now.
