Sweet baby jeesus, I just saw the video, watched it like 4 times... my jaw is still gaping open like a cheap vegas hooker... hmmm maybe this will change my mind about purchasing a different car next year.

This makes sense, because I'm sure that car would outperform the Cobalt at speeds past 120mph. At some point, I am acellerating quicker, because we trap close to the same mph even though I am not on high boost until the top of 2nd gear. Of course this is earlier Veyrons that trap around 137, not a later version or super sport.

On another note, did anyone ever notice that the Veyron motor has the same bore and stroke as the LSJ and LNF?
Totally understand. Thank you for clearing it up. It's just the anxiety man... :/

X2 want to see stock motor with regular pump gas. If I can get 430-450 whp with no meth on 91 octane, I'm sold.

I know that's why I'm so anxious!!! Either this EFR or I trade for a 335 before my warranty runs out!

I'd be more worried about traction in a sky, can you imagine spinning the rear wheels like that? Its so much easier controlling that power on a fwd car than a rwd one.

The weight distribution of a rear drive car helps the traction. It wont sping like that.

I would not mind getting a sky redline to do the same build as in my car now, I should have bought one of those to begin with lol.

Hell, twins on the stock 6.2 is beastly enough... or if you do it on a 7.0 Z06 that would be even better... The LS blocks are beasts.

I thought the ls7 didn't do well with boost because of thin sleeves. Obviously the ls3 loves boost. Was under the assumption the 6.2 lsx came with forged pistons and the works.

The lsx is a race motor basically your are correct the LSX has forged pistons and everything... It has a cast iron block as well, not sure if you were aware of that or not. That would make it a little heavier but the benefits for a boosted motor would more than outweigh the negatives.

I am in for a ls3 vette for pure cost. The cost to turbo a ls7 is higher and let alone the price of the car. I still get the hook up through the dealer i worked at so i can get an 08 ls3 for about 30,000 maybe even less by now. Anyway back on track for the thread.
