agreed.

I'm going to pull enough out of it on the stock blower to keep me happy. Then I'm done with it.
I figure in a few years I'm going to have it paid off and then I'm going to buy a real project.......RWD of course. Good-bye wheel hop, hello traction -- until I mod it like crazy and it still won't get traction...lol.

Wow, sad to see that one of the summit white ss/tc owners is such an egotistical toolbag. Get off your high horse. Like I said like...a year ago, the ss/tc would bring about ******** that think the car is almighty and bring about a civil war. 1WhiteSSTC and FLEX_SS are two of the many I've seen.

To the OP, as stated before, if you're overly worried about modding breaking your warranty, then modding isn't the thing to do. Modding causes problems usually always in one way or another. And dealers are just LOOKING to void warranties especially on these cars because they know that we all like to mod stuff. I've heard people voiding warranties due to freaking mufflers, not cat backs, but just mufflers. Be careful if you do decide to mod.

PS - 1white, if you're talking about Hahn Racecraft's times with the 13.6....that was with a downpipe, exhaust, and their prototype tunes....not to mention launch control.

nah, he's talking about Marin007, he's got the fastest recorded stock ss/tc times that any of us know of and have documented.

Not to mention that the final say on warranty lies outside of the dealership's hands. You can have a dealer that's cool as **** about warranty work, but they can and do get audited by higher ups on this kind of thing. The tech, the service manager, even the general manager of the dealership can promise you the world, but if someone higher up gets involved, then that's the end of the line.

we got audited alot. luckily we had good paper work to back everything up though. I would never ever trust anything a dealer says to me.

I didn't read all the pages/posts, but this is correct. If the magnusson-Moss act was already referenced, sorry. If not, here it is
