I can say that we dont have fatass, power hungry Police Officers here where I work, we get the job done, and we do it fair. But if there is a drunk guy trying to fight everyone and thinks he is King Kong we will do what we have to do to take him down and not allow him to hurt anyone. And trust me, I used to think all Cops were the same until I became one myself, now I see what they have to put up with on a daily basis and everything is justified. Well we dont, and no Police Officer should. Trust me, if you were a Police Officer and knew the kinda **** and people we dealt with, you would get tired of getting ran over, if you let it get that far. We dont let it get that far, we take the situation as it is and do what we have to do so it doesnt escalate.

But after awhile I would think things like Tint, Exhaust and car related things might be way off your radar. Those things don't do anything but make easy tickets. Really you aren't protecting anyone in the community. So what if some old lady hates the exhaust sound. Her time is up anyway. As for Tint. Unless the car was doing something else wrong I wouldn't pull them over just for my safety anyway. Find the murders, rapist, car thieves, and all the things that really affect a community.

Jumping in your V8 Ford, jumping on the siren and parading around does nothing but make the community hate you. Maybe if the community didn't hate cops they would be more apt to cooperate. The cops around here don't pull that **** too bad and I respect their hard work and non-corrupt behaviour.

I know...I'm actually originally from Oswego (that is where my parents live)...that is the next town over from Yorkville...right now I'm trying to keep my warranty...but if I ever decide to go aftermarket, I'll drive right over to Hahn's shop...

 

I never once said I cared about Tint, Exhaust or car related things. The only time I care about those things is if it gives me Probable Cause to stop someone if I have a hunch about the car or person in it. I dont hit the siren or parade around, the only time I or anyone in our department uses the siren is if someone is in danger or possibly in danger, i.e, wrecks with injuries, burglaries in progress with someone home, robberies, and other dangerous things like that. I dont know about where you live, but the community here doesnt hate Cops, we are very well involved in the community.

 

That is the attitude of small town cops ....

Born and raised in a very small community talking graduating class was 32 people and the biggest town around was 10,000 white people with Crooked corrupt **** Walker texas ranger style cops who **** with you because they know every ones name and have probably pulled their car over atleast once ...

Texas is the worst place in the world I think for Cops ..

 

You go ahead and think that, but when you need one because your precious little car got stolen, or someone broke into your house, just go ahead and find out who did it yourself and dont worry about calling the Police.

Hmm, lets see, there are like 10 High Schools here, we have just under 300 sworn Police Officers, we have over 150,000 people that live here and it is expected to increase to 250,000 in the next 8 to 10 years.

Everyone always says and thinks Cops abuse their power, but in reality we use it to do what we have to do, because if we didnt there would be more killers, robbers and rapists on the road. You dont realize how many people we get with Warrants just out of a traffic stop for expired registration or a broken headlight. Bigger cities like St. Louis, Chicago, NY, etc have more important things to do than worry about DUI's. Now I'm in no way saying they should just look the other way when it comes to them, but there are murders and robberies daily in bigger Cities and it's easier to find DUI's in smaller towns.

And from what I remember seeing, I believe it was just in 06 or 07 Springfield, MO's population was just over 150k, which is nowhere near the 250-300k that you claim. It's about the same size as Clarksville, which is where I live.

And what are you gonna do if your car gets stolen and you track it down using GPS? You gonna beat the **** out of the person who stole it, or what? Like I already mentioned, everyone hates Cops until they need them for something.

 

If you really think the general population in America can't protect them selves I would like to see the guy who robs my house with my Ruger on the night stand... but that probably wont happen because I live in a predominately white neighborhood and it isn't yet infested with the cultural diversity and crime or expanding with more immagrants....

Look people. Cops are like everyone else. There are ********, and there are cool cops. Most the cops Ive gotten pulled over by were cool, and only a small few were asshats. So heres the moral of the story:

Humanity: Some are ********, most are cool
Cops: Some are ********, most are cool

 

Cops are cool...if you think about it we would all have alot more tickets if they were just ******** and shot radar all day. Ive been pulled over 4 times...only 1 ticket...there cool with me.

 

I have been pulled over 10 times and have had 5 tickets. Guess your average is better than mine.

I have dealt with men I wanted to punch in the face and cops that didn't care I had a shotgun in the passenger seat. So lets just move on.

I got pulled over for spinning the tires on my SS for a friend. I explained and he started asking questions about the car, he was actually interested in it lolz.

Ive also gotten out of street racing charges because I worked with the cop that pulled me over ( hes in my unit ). That was some dumb **** Ill never do again.
