Who would have thought that a 2.1L ecotec would ever become so popular?

I did a little more tuning today and the torque came up a bit to ~405. When I ran higher boost, torque was in the 420s, but max hp was still the same as the boost faded up top. I ended up leaving it at a relatively flat 25psi with 425whp/405ft lbs. I got to drive it on the street as well. It's worthless below 80.
Damn you Matt why must you tease me! I might have to take it for a spin before I load it on the trailer lol.

Even with the great results for the BNR 2871 people still got to hate in this thread.

Looks like a pretty solid hybrid turbo for a true bolt solution if you ask me.

Sick build man. Those numbers are awesome. Pretty much what a normal gt2871 would pull off. esp since is still a k04 exhaust housing

ATI turbo balancer. Under drive damper recommended to help keep your alternator alive and allow for high rpm engine reliabilty

Yup...and the reason it is called a turbo balancer is because you wouldn't want to run it on a supercharged car that would end up with less boost because of the small crank pulley.

Only because your turbo is massive and you have to jump on it five minutes early so you have some sort of boost in any race

and go buy the new hero2 its pretty sick!

Matt -

For the ATI "Turbo" Balancer,

where is the "smaller" belt on the ZZP web site?

or would it make sense to install a slightly larger pulley on the alternator?

Also, is ZZP selling the Grinded front cover?

It's too bad we got hit with a snowstorm yesterday, or you could have taken it for a spin before loading it up.

Let me kow if you have any questions or concerns. Enjoy the new setup, but please use some common sense. It's too fast and powerfuel to floor it everywhere you go.

im happy for the cost of it. I wont be happy with the power for long, but itll do for now. I havent, ill be picking it up from them saturday. Depending on the weather here, i might take it out for a little spin, otherwise itll just go straight into the garage until its nice out.
gonna drive it today??? worst day we have had all year lol
