I'll be going through the break-in process in a few months, as well. Lots of theories and methods out there, it seems.
In general it sounds to me like I'm going to need to let it rev up each gear and then decel coast when I go places for a while. Then after several drives, start ramping up the power I give it and begin heat cycling it..
Yeah, there seems to be a different theory for every person I ask. In this case though, I'd probably be best off going with the guidance from the people giving the warranty. lol

For those that don't know what Cubaniche's talking about, while I was in the middle of the engine swap, I didn't have any extra floorspace in the garage for both the car and front facia for a while, so I just stuck the facia in my house. The best place was in my dining room, but when you woke up in the morning you could see it peering at me through the doorway. lol Luckily I never got that "being watched" feeling at night, because that would've been kinda weird too.
