Remember, we have over 120 degrees of lobe separation at idle. There isn't going to be any noticeable lope at idle with these cams.

Yea, mine just give a lot more noticeable grunt and aren't thumpy at idle, a bit loopy though but I think that's in the tune.

Matt on a side note, I emailed Steve a couple days ago about some questions I had about them but never heard back.

Cams

On gas with stock cams, peak whp was 332.
On gas with ZZP cams, peak whp was 362.

However, boost was a little higher on the cammed test. I thought we had a maxed turbo test on gas with stock cams, but there weren't any tests with the same test procedure. Maxing the turbo on the stock cams should have put it somewhere around 336-340 whp.

Next, I switched back to E85:

On E85 with stock cams, peak whp was 359.
On E85 with ZZP cams, peak whp was 381.

I altererd the test a little by shortening the test and running a more agressive tune, but there was very little gain. Peak whp was 383.

Here are a couple dyno sheets:

ZZP cams, gas vs. E85. Notice the 428 ft lbs(sae corrected). Uncorrected torque was over 435!

Highest whp pull

I'd post more, but I have to get my drag car(Grand Prix) ready to race tomorrow.
As soon as they are released, a set is mine!!!!!

A couple weeks ago, I did some cam timing adjustment R&D on the new cams and picked up a little more hp.(~5whp) Torque was improved quite a bit more than that. For fun, I did some uncorrected pulls to see what power the car is making in the cold. Temps were around 40 in the dyno room. Peak whp was 408 and peak torque surpassed 500! Boost hit 30 psi and faded to ~20 with pressure holding the gate closed.(2 port boost controller)

Can you resend it or send it to me? Steve is pretty good about answering his emails. It's possible it didn't go through.

I see Matt is running higher boost then before. is this because of the cams? I know Matt has a build bottom end but would the rest of use with the stock block b eable to run boost safely at thos levels? if not I would like to know what kind of power that thing makes at 24psi

also Bad Ass keep up the good work

are those zzp stage 2s? Cause those sound really lumpy and zzp said that you could barely notice the stage 2s.
