I got the ones he was talking about and one still broke.

 

First thing i did with my ZZP combo on my 2.4L was to switch to Grade 8 bolts

 

Damn that sucks,i dont know what to tell you.Im in no way bashing zzp.Ive bought a couple of things for my car from them and i have no complaints.

 

take your goofy ass to an auto parts store. spend 2 bucks, and buy a gasket.

you're making this a lot tougher then it really has to be in the end.

 

They have good service and the quality of the exhaust work is top notch. Just a bummer that they end up sending out hardware that is this crappy. Oh well.

 

I work for Fastenal and the bolts and nuts are Grade 9 hardware, the best u can get(atleast what came in my kit), but the washers are cheap which I upgraded to Grade 9 also along with some Hi-alloy lock washers. If those bolts/ nuts that u had on ur h/dp were Grade 9 and they broke, ZZP must be getting some counterfit bolts then because there is no reason for them to break.
