That's what I was looking for. It'll give a good idea of what Hahn's kit should sound like. They're using a Super 20 too...

It happens man, I would have like to run that too, but budget was tight. We'll see what I decide to upgrade to once this setup is maxed out.... cause that's just how I roll

yeah man my friend sam adams got in the way, plus I didn't realize how late it was getting. I'm gonna try to get something up today when I get home from work.
And yes I bought the tag pulley kit, but it's damn easy to make.

Well another IAT update some actual data for you guys,
out side temp was 68 degrees, after air/air intercooler IAT 1 was 108, after stock air/water
IC final IAT2 was 81 degrees at 18.68 psi @112mph and 7023 rpm. IDC was 86-89%, maf lb/min was 38.22 with an afr 11.4:1. 18 degrees timing advance and 0 deg KR the whole time. I don't even get any more throttle tip in .7 kr like the car used to. and VE airflow (lb/m) 38.36. Getting a little more dialed in. Hopefully I can get my wireless working, or some burning software so I can post up some screen shots of the logs for you guys to get an idea of what the car is doing.

Good to see you're VE is around 38.

That's very similar to what I used to analyze compression maps. What do you think our engine's pressure ratio would be. I was getting a little over 2.7. If I'm on w/ that too, then the GT2871R w/ 52trim, .60 A/R should be perfect for this engine...

gotta finish doing the math on that one man. Been working like a madman just trying to get everything finished up. I'll have all the calculations up soon.

Ve with 2 more psi was going up @40.xx I"m just trying to get my fueling issues in the lower gears figured out. Big issue though is the piping, so it won't be perfect til then.

You get that bigger piping and you should prob only see a pound increase down by sea level...

Sounds about right...

Unfortunately, between the IC, charge piping and stock manifold, it'll still mess w/ ya, lol. I can't wait to see how you make out.

When you talk to Kenny, see if he'll offer different turbo's w/ the kit instead of just pigeon holing us into a specific turbo. My cams are going to change things a little bit and I'm thinking I'd be happier off w/ the GT2871. GT30 is just too damn big. I need some power down low to suppliment the cams and build boost by 3K. Was he planning on using the Super 60 for the kit? Cause I'll push that way out of it's efficiency range.

truth. I'm sure as long as the turbo will fit, he can offer it. I'll hopefully be picking a gt2871 up soon to see if will fit since that is the turbo I'd rather run. Just waiting to hear back from him on some info and whatnot.

Let me know how you make out. I think it comes as a T25, but you might be able to get the housing w/ the T3 connection. Could be wrong though. It's so tough pricing out turbos because you have two inlet and outlets to think about. I know the compressor isn't as big of a deal, but the **** just gets so complicated, I go cross-eyed. When you run your numbers, try them against this. I'm curious to see what you think:

My head hurts too much to go through that lol. I think you can get it with a t3 flange, or at least get an adapter flange.
I know my boy is running that on his srt-4 and the car is a beast through the whole rpm band

Yeah, it looks to be a great turbo choice.

I like the fact you can go w/ a .86 turbine A/R too, for you drag racing guys. The .64 is perfect for me and the street. Should build boost like crazy!

I'm not gonna lie **** is cute. Once he got it up and running that night i had to tip my hat to him. Hearing him drive home that night was funny as hell once his waste gate dump opens up. Kinda surprises you that that kinda sound is coming out of a cobalt. AND THANK THE SAINTS PAUL this is the first time an exhaust sounds manly on your cobalt. To bad it took you shoving a turbo at the front of it for that to happen LOL! I think im stuck with my cobalt so even if CA doesn't mass produce the kit i think i'll have paul help me put one together for myself. Deffinatly worth it IMO

Phil you let me know when you want to get it done and it will be done man. My friend has a welding and fabrication shop now in Mineola who will hook you up cheap for fab work.

you gotta hear the car now at 18 psi instead of 7.8. **** sounds badass.
But yeah man, when I first started thcar up that night and it barely idled I didn't think it was gonna be coming home, but lo and behold my skills at tracking down leaks got it back that night. I still can't believe we did that whole thing in one night, and I was able to drive home, and even get into boost completely untuned. Phil if you're around this weekend I"m taking you for a ride in the car, you'll **** yourself. Thing pulls like a monster now.
