I was thinking the rings at first, but now Chevycobaltss3 and a few other posts, and what his car is doing, I"m thinking its just carstedt's head gasket, the engine has no knock, I read one post talking about the dipstick poping out cause of a bad batch of head gaskets causing it under boost, and it smokes really bad out the exhaust, oh and 25lbs of boost with no head studs, and it could have spiked over that. the more I'm thinking now, the more a blown head gasket makes sense, hmm, could it be up and running by the weekend,

No.. from the logs I seen back when I last tuned him I remember seeing. 47 maf lbs and I couldn't get his afr down do the fuel system. The log showed 13.2 ion the top of fourth. His duty cycle was 159% so I asked him to get. A referenced fuel system so we can get it down. He's on e85 and Meth which is why I was able to get where I had it. I was just waiting on the text or call saying it was installed so we can tune... I assumed he popped because he never did the reference fuel system so we can get his idcs down and if need be use. 1000 cc injectors. It never got far enough as you can see.
BTW I meant 47 but apparently my phone thine its cool to **** on my finger.. I mean he might have pushed 50+ but I don't remember on top my head. Since we've tuned it a couple times for differenct setups.

samething happen to me,motor still running strong.I replaced the intake manifold gasket with the updated one, problem solved!!
this is the PIP from GM. yes I'm a GM tech!
#PIP3983: Oil Leak From Top Of Dipstick - Replace Intake Manifold Gasket - keywords accel acceleration CEL crank crankcase dip engine excessive hard high MIL P0171 pressure repeat SES stick WOT - (Nov 16, 2006)
Subject: Oil Leak from Top of Dipstick
Models: 2005-2006 Chevrolet Cobalt SS
2004-2006 Saturn Ion Redline
with 2.0L Engine (VIN P - RPO LSJ)
The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
On rare occasions, the engine oil dipstick may become unseated on hard acceleration, resulting in an engine oil leak. If the engine is operated long enough like this, a P0171 DTC could set due to the engine ingesting unmetered air.
This concern is the result of excessive crankcase pressure on hard acceleration. This crankcase pressure may be the result of an intake manifold gasket concern that allows supercharger boost pressure to bypass the intake manifold gasket where it seals around the PCV orifice, which is between the #2 and #3 intake runners.
Recommendation/Instructions:
If the SI diagnostics do not isolate a cause for this concern, replace the intake manifold gasket using part number 12597855, which contains an updated sealing surface around the PCV orifice. This part number, or any future part number, is designed to address this concern.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
GM bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, NOT a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform these technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions, and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, DO NOT assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See your GM dealer for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.

I don't think its the intake gasket, I checked the oil today and it has gone up a little now, and has a faint smell of dexcool, but we will know more once we get it to the garage. We should know what happened to it for sure tomorrow night. I"m hoping its only the head gasket.

there is an underlying issue somewhere else that needs addressed.

I'm not saying that it is for sure just the head gasket, I can't say anything untill its tore down, I'm just saying all the signs of a blown head gasket are their, coolant in the oil, runs rough, and blows a nice big whit cloud of smoke out the exhaust. yes, their could be more wrong, but those are the thoughts right now, and if more is found wrong, they will be fixed, or whatever carstedt wants to do with it.
