i think the stage 2 is common because its cheap effective and doesnt void warrenty, i like to drive my car to work (no choice), but i also like to line my car up against a 5.0L and make em sweat and any thing higher than stage 2 isnt street legal, not that it matters in most cases

is it possible for the cpu to re-flash it's self??? Because when I first drove my stage2, I was getting around 70 mph in second gear, and 110 in 3rd, and now after a few miles, I'm getting about 60mph in second, and 90-95 or so in third. Any ideas???

I know. I thought of that too, and it was cooler when I ran faster. But I don't think it would make that much of a diff... would it? Not 10-15 mph? Or do you think it could?

??? possibly when we did the dyno tune the car with the least mods that went last in the day (car cooled down all day and it was cooler temp wise) and it made the most power on the dyno. but to answer if it makes that much of a difference i really dont know was boost levels the same?

what size is gmpp stage3 pulley it shouldfit with no issues

i hear you can use the stage 3 pulley with the stage 2 gm tune cause the stage 2 tune is rich anyway but how much boost does the stage 3 pulley give you they say it will work with the stage 2 belt and the stage 2 injectors

stage 3 is a 2.9.
You can use a stage 3 pulley on a stage 2 tune. BUT there is alot of debate on what im about to say so im suiting up the flame suit now. The debate is stage 2 tune is rich blah blah and theres no problems running the s3 pulley. now from PERSONAL EXPERIENCE I had fuel down low, but up top around 5,000 RPMs I leaned out like a ****. Injectors couldnt do anything for me from 5-7k. So I had to upgrade to 60s. Now some people say its fine, some say its not. Im sure theres many variables too such as intake, exhaust etc. but that is my personal experience.

if you want to instal a 2.7 inch pulley its pretty much a must to get some cooling mods. a dual pass plate would be great, but screw the cobra heat exchanger, look up cx racing on ebay. for about 200 you can get a bigger intercooler and hardware.

I've got a good one.
2 weeks ago I got my stg2. It worked fine for 3 days, then my cruise control stopped working and my spedometer fell off by approximately 10%. The power of the stage 2 is still there, my car runs fine, boost is fine, rpm are where they should be, but the spedometer is off. I've had it at the local GM dealer where I had the stage 2 installed for about a week off and on. They are unable to fix the problem. First they replaced the computer, that didn't work. Then they said they needed to get a new calibration, that didn't work. Then they said they need to call in a GM engineer. After he looked at the car he said that I have to put the stock air box back on and remove my cold air intake. I told him he's full of ****. Anybody else encountered this problem? Any help would be much appreciated. I'll even pay you for it, lol. Help!

Thats exactly what it was. I had to take it to a different dealer who found it the same day. The origional dealer had my car for six days.
