Yes, it is possible to do hard lines. They have a high temp masking tape (I think its silicone) that withstands temps up to 500 degrees.

the only question then would be.....is this a special process that most local shops arent gonna be able to do? and if they can.....is it gonna be extremely expensive....
Id definately prefer powdercoat, we all know its better.
but im not paying $500+ to have this done when i can do it for $30, even if i have to repaint every 2 years.
